*Present Day*
I stuffed my clothes in a suitcase, waiting for Ashton's arrival.
I was going upstate with him to see his brother play lacrosse. I was really excited.
I liked Ashton a lot. He is the only person I have since my parents are divorced and I barely see them. He's really the only person I spend time with ever since Luke and I broke up.
"Hey, Vicky you here?" I heard a voice say.
I ran downstairs and saw Ashton giving me a grin. He pulled me in for a kiss.
"So, are you ready to go?" he asked taking my hand.
"Of course." I said smiling at him. He took my suitcase and rolled it out to the car.
{*Flashback*}---------------------------
I felt Ashton's lips on my neck, he kissed my skin gently.
I pulled his head away from my neck, kissing his lips.
When I looked away, that's when I saw Luke.
He was just standing there in the doorway.
I covered my mouth with my hand, I couldn't believe what I just saw.
"Luke this isn't what it looks like, I promise." I said putting a blanket over my body.
He didn't say anything to me. He just kinda stood there.
At the corner of my eye I saw Ashton quickly putting on his clothes.
"Hey, I gotta g-go." he said stumbling. "Lemme know when you can talk." Ashton said running out of the bedroom.
It was just Luke and I.
He took a step inside.
"What the fuck, was that?" he asked quietly.
"Luke, I can explain." I started to say.
"No, why would you do this? Why would you even!" He said screaming at me.
{*End of Flashback*}
"Hey, are you okay?" Ashton said walking up to me putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah I'm fine, just I thought I forgot something." I lied.
"Well, double check you didn't forget anything. It's a 6 hour drive! I don't plan on stopping too." he said giving me kiss on the cheek.
I opened the car door and sat down in the front. I buckled my seat belt and thought for a second.
I have flashbacks of Luke and I constantly. And I have no idea why. Sometimes I feel like he never left.
Sometimes I feel like, Luke still has my heart.
