I woke up early the next day. It felt my stomach was twisted in knots.
It was time to end it with Ashton.
I only had a few messages from Luke wanting to meet up again, but I couldn't answer him till Ashton was out of my life.
"Hey, can I come over in a few. We need to talk." I sent over a quick text to him.
"Sure." he responded quickly.
I slipped on a pair of sweats and an old sweatshirt that my aunt had got me christmas. I put my hair up in a messy bun and grabbed my car keys.
"Hi. Why are you here so early?" Ashton asked as he opened the front door of his flat.
"Look, I need to talk to you." I said taking his hand.
We walked into his bedroom, and sat down on his bed.
"What do you want to talk about?" he asked taking a deep breath.
"Ashton." I started.
I started to sweat.
I didn't think I could do this.
"I have been thinking, and I want to be completely honest with you." I said shaking.
"Say whatever you want." he said putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Im not the same person-I was." my voice started to shake.
Ashton gave me a confused look.
"Im not in love-." I stopped myself.
"What? With what?" he asked.
A tear fell from my eye.
"No. I didn't mean-."
"Your not in love with me anymore. I knew it. Your in fucking love with Luke again!" he yelled.
"No, Ashton I want to be with yo-."
"Fuck this. F-F-uc-k. Fuck everything. Fuck this whole thing!" he screamed throwing a pillow across the room.
I buried my face in my hands.
"Ash, I don't want it to end this way. I just-."
"I don't have time for your fucking shit! Get the hell out! I never want to see you again. You made it so fucking obvious that you were still in love with Luke."
"Ashton please!" I screamed crying uncontrollably.
He took a deep breath. I saw his eyes tear. It got quiet.
"No." he said looking away.
I let out a loud cry, sobbing into my hands.
We walked outside slowly, he stood in beside the front door.
"Thank you, for everything by the way." I whispered to him, giving him one last kiss.
He still stood there.
I walked out and gently closed the door.
That's when I first ever heard Ashton cry,
In forever.
