About 2 months had passed, I hadn't spoken a word to Luke.

I got texts every now and then from my friends saying to talk to him again.

Luke now just seemed like a basic stranger to me. It seemed like nothing ever happened between us.

Later that day, someone rang my doorbell.

I walked over slowly, hoping not but wishing at the same time it would be Luke.

I opened it, and guess who it was,

Ashton.

"Look, your probably thinking why the fuck I'm here. But before you slam the door in my face, just let me inside so I can talk to you." he explained panting.

My stomach started to hurt, I didn't want to do this at all.

"Ash, I don't think this a good idea." I told him.

"Just give me a chance. Please." he said.

I opened the door even wider, gesturing for him to come in.

We sat down in the kitchen quietly.

"Do you want anything?" I asked breaking the silence.

"Nah. I am good." he said sighing.

I sat across from him, ready to listen to what he has come to say to me.

"I just wanted to come and say I'm sorry. I know this might sound cheesy and you probably don't want to forgive me but, I really am. I have been such a complete ass hole and a big dick for the past months since you broke up with me. I was jealous, and I admit it. Look, I am not asking for you back, I just want us to be at least be friends. I miss talking to you all the time." Ashton poured out to me.

My heart sank. I knew he really meant it, the pain and anger he had been feeling over the course of the last few months.

"When I broke up with you," I started to say. "I didn't ever want to talk to you again, which I don't know why I wanted to do that. You could've helped me through so much after that I didn't know what I was-."

"Stop. It's okay. Let's start fresh." he interrupted putting his hand on my shoulder.

"I'll try."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm kind of in a rut here." I sighed.

"What happened?" he asked confused.

"Luke and I broke up, kind of. About 2 months ago. We haven't spoken since." I blurted out trying not to cry.

"What w-. Is it because of what happened, at the diner that day." he asked as his voice cracked.

"No, just nonsense. Overreactions. I wish I could go back and fix it all up." I said running my fingers through my hair.

"Well, we can fix it. You and me."

"What?"

"We are going to fix this."
