Absolute~Luke Hemmings~

Chapter 7:

To my surprise, the car ride was basically full of laughter and jokes.

It seemed like Luke had forgot about our past, and was now focusing on the future.

"You got seats for two?" he said as we walked inside the diner to the host.

"Sure sir, follow me." he said grabbing menus quickly.

We sat down, and ordered food quiet quickly.

"So, your dating Ashton. Right, still." he asked kinda making it like a statement.

"Yeah." I said leaning back on my chair.

I could feel the awkwardness right there.

"Thats, exciting..." Luke said quietly.

"Yeah, I guess." I said trying to lighten up the mood. "Have you had any relationships since, you know."

"Yeah, but I dumped her last night." he said looking down.

"Oh my god. Im sorry." I said in shock.
"Why? If you don't mind I ask."

"Because I know this girl and I-I-I really like her." he replied his voice shaking.

"Who?" I questioned.

"Oh, n-no one. No one important." Luke stuttered.

The waiter came over quickly with our food, unbalancing the plates almost as if they looked like they were gonna fall.

"Hey, lemme help you." I got up and grabbed the dishes.

"Thank you." he said whipping the sweat off his head.

I tried to read his name tag. I was pretty sure it read Harry. I wasn't sure though.

"You guys enjoy your lunch." he said running his fingers through his brown hair.

Luke and I didn't really speak much as we ate.

"So," he started to say. "Do you want to go hang out after around town?"

"Id love too." I replied smiling.

He gave me a smirk.

The whole day was amazing. We walked around, trying different foods and buying things in shops.

It was the most amount of fun I've had in a long time.

Luke drove me back to my hotel around 11pm.

"Hey, thanks for today." I said as he walked me to the doors of the lobby.

"Don't thank me. I thank you for coming." he said smiling.

He looked down at me, his eyes staring into mine.

That's when it happened.

His soft lips touched mine, I felt his hands go around my waist.

I felt my stomach tie in knots, for some reason I felt like I was going puke. I was in so much shock.

"That was for today." he whispered.

"Luke we shouldn't. Im in love with Ash-."

"Listen," he interrupted. "I just wanted to say, your the girl I left my girlfriend for. When I saw again yesterday, I remembered that I loved you so much. I knew that I could trust you again." he explained to me.

"Luke please don't." I said opening the doors to the lobby.

"Vicky," he grabbed my shoulder. "Don't tell Ashton." Luke whispered firmly.

"I won't." I swore.

I knew it.

Im falling back in love with Luke Hemmings.
