A divorcing couple were in court over a child custody battle. The wife stated that she ought to have the kids because she brought them into this world, so they should stay with her. The judge asked why the man thought he ought to get custody. The man thought for a moment, then answered, "Judge, if I put a quarter in a candy machine and a candy bar comes out, does it belong to me or the machine?"
