The others back away as I start the car, and back out. We ride in silence for a few minutes, before Sierra asks.

"We were all dead weren't we?"

"I was too." I say

"Did you see what happened?"

"No, call your parents and tell them you're on the way. There's a knife in the glove box if you want that thing off your wrist." I say quickly.

"Did it mess with you that bad? You won't even talk about it with me."

"I just need time to process the feelings, I couldn't feel them in the dream, but when whoever gave us the letters mentioned the dream, everything I should have felt came for me all at once." I say tightening my grip on the steering wheel. She pulls out her phone and calls her mom. After a few rings Mrs. Watson picks up. Sierra puts her phone on speaker as she does.

"Sierra are you ok?" She asks not sounding all that worried.

"I'm fine, Fang got me there in time. We're on our way to the house, is everyone up?"

"Yes, we had to stop Chris from rushing up there this morning, he's worried about you."

"I swear if he blames Fang-" Sierra starts sounding irritated.

"He's actually very grateful for how fast he reacted, so don't you start anything either." Mrs. Watson says firmly. I chuckle and smile at Sierra. "Felix is that you laughing?"

"Yes ma'am." I say still laughing slightly.

"And what is so funny?"

"I was just thinking how much I always wanted a sibling, it seems entertaining how they love, but hate each other."

"I see. Will you be joining us for breakfast, we're having pancakes, eggs, and bacon?"

"I think I will if you don't mind that is."

"I'll have your place set, how long will you two be?"

"Maybe five minutes, probably a little less." Sierra says.

"Alright, be careful you two." Mrs. Watson says hanging up.

"You do not want a sibling, they are outright annoying." Sierra says rolling her eyes.

"I'm sure that's the only thing you think about your siblings." I say rolling my eyes. "I just think it would be nice to have someone, that had your back no matter the situation."

"And what am I?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"Fair point." I concede. "But I still want a sibling." She laughs, and lays her head back.

"Fang promise me we won't ever change, that we'll stay like this forever."

"That's a big promise, but I'll meet you half way. I promise that I won't ever change, I'll love you always."

"You always have the right words don't you?" She asks laughing to herself.

"A writer needs words." I say smiling.

"You know what I mean." She says giving me a "really" look.

"If you say so." I say shrugging.

We ride in silence the rest of the way, just enjoying each other's company. As we reach her street she reaches into the glove box, and grabs the knife I was talking about. She cuts off the hospital bracelet and puts it back as we pull into her driveway.

Chris is sitting on the front porch with Mr. Watson, looking to be whittling. They don't look up as I park , but as we get out they put their work to the side and rise looking at us. I wait for Sierra and we walk up to them.
