Kat's POV:
"You'd think after all that's happened you would be used to getting drugged." Edward's voice pulled me from my drowsy state. I was sat in a chair with my hands and feet tied to it, he stood above me with a proud smirk and a deranged glint in his eye.
"Look I would reply with a witty remark but honestly I'm just too tired." I mumbled my head lolling back.
"That's a perfect shot right there, your boyfriend's going to love it." He took pictures with an old-styled Polaroid camera with a giddy smile and placed them neatly into a green envelope.
"Really? Have't you got anything better to do? I was just trying to have a nice dinner with my boyfriend and you have to come in here and ruin it for me." I whined, completely over this petty attempt to do whatever the hell he was supposed to do.
"Oh yes." He sealed the envelope. "Your boyfriend, do tell me how that's going." He moved to the other side of the room to put the envelope somewhere.
"It was going just fine before this incident." I replied with boredom.
"And by 'fine' you mean completely forgetting the fact he kidnapped you and lead to your insanity?" He hummed and I death glared him.
"Ok can you stop being so salty? We get it you wanna screw Oswald can you just do it and leave Jerome and I alone?" I spat, rolling my eyes. I felt an electric shock go through my system and I screamed in agony, writhing in my chair.
"It's that tongue of yours that will get you in trouble." He states as he turns the electricity off.
"Are you kidding me Ed? What's your problem?" I shouted in confusion.
"It's not me with the problem Kat." He paced the room in a desperate attempt to seem superior. "It's you, but don't you worry I'm going to fix it."
"I don't have a problem, I was perfectly fine." I looked to the ceiling in frustration.
"Was that seems to be the magic word hm? I've been watching the two of you quite closely and I've noticed that you make quite the partner in crime." I tilted my head. "I've also noticed that you just aren't using that sharp mind of yours to it's full potential." He tapped my temple and I shook my head away from him.
"Why does this matter so much to you?" I asked incredulously, wondering how this meant anything to him.
"Your loyalty is commendable and I've come to a sort of conclusion." He drawled on and I groaned.
"Oh my god get on with it!" I groaned only to be greeted with another electric shock.
"Didn't your father ever teach you manners?" He mocked and my eyes flickered to the floor. "As I was saying, I've concluded that you will become my partner in crime, you see I'm trying to establish a name for myself-"
"Ed I don't know if you've been paying attention but I already have a partner you know him he held a gun to your head yesterday?" Another electric shock and scream.
"Hm that's the issue isn't it? But it seems that your mind is easily molded, it only took a month or two of being Jerome's hostage before you did anything he asked so if I sped up the process with some of this." Another electric shock. "You should be my loyal sidekick in no time."
"I would never." I hissed before being shocked again.
"Sure you will, it's only a matter of time." He mused, leaning against the wall with a smug smile. "Until then, I've got a couple of tests you can complete, I need to make sure my investment is well placed."
