Eva's POV

I looked around the room one last time. This has been my room for the last two years. I had to leave today. Xavier will be here soon.

Mum and dad reacted surprisingly good. Dad knew because Xavier told him before I could. Dad was happy. But, mum was ecstatic.

When I told her that Xavier is my mate, she was shocked. Then, she started crying with happiness. She was extremely happy. She kept telling me that she was so happy and couldn't express it.

"Oh, I am so happy for you, Eva. I have to say this, he is really handsome," she said as she winked at me.

My cheeks heated up at that. she laughed and hugged me.

Dad came and gave me our special father-daughter hug.

"He is good man, Eva, he said as he kissed my forehead.

Mum wiped her tears and joined in for a group hug.

I smiled at the memory. I got up from my bed checked my suitcases to see if I've put everything important in it. I had packed them when I came back from school.

When I told Anna that I found my mate and he Xavier Storm, she kept screaming with excitement. Everyone in the hallway gave us weird glances. She is crazy but that's why we are besties. I laughed at the thought.

"Eva! Alpha is here," I heard mum's voice from downstairs.

My palms felt sweaty. I, suddenly, started to feel nervous.

I got up and looked out of window and saw dad and Xavier talking, next to his car. He was wearing dark washed jeans and a black button. He looked handsome in the ruthless kind of way. I bit my lip at the thought. Suddenly, his head snapped up and his gaze fell on me. A smirk formed on his lips and rushed away from the window.

I dragged my suitcases downstairs. Dad came in with Xavier following behind him.

Dad came towards me and pulled me in his arms.

"Take care, munchkin."

"You too, dad," I said as I hugged him back.

Mum came and held my hands. I could see tears forming in her eyes. I gave her a tight hug.

"We're going to miss you so much," she whispered in my ear.

"I'll call everyday," I said as we parted.

Xavier came and grabbed my suitcases. He intertwined our hands.

"Let's go," he said as he started walking towards the front door with me.

Once we reached the car, he put my suitcases in the boot of his car. I turned around and waved at my parents. Xavier started the car and we drove away.

We reached the pack house and I followed Xavier to his room. He placed my suitcases next to the bed.

"I cleared half of the closet for you so you can put your clothes.

I'll leave you to it. If you need anything, I'll be in my office. It's the last room on your right," he said as he turned around and left. I sighed and turned towards the closed. I walked towards the closet, dragging my suitcases behind me.
