Lois' POV
"Thank you." Ann and I simultaneously bowed to our school nurse and I slided the door close.
We set the way towards our class. There were students who were still outside of their rooms either chat with their friends or had a destination to go to first.
I looked down to my hands as I interlaced them together and fiddling my thumbs. The pain in my head didn't hurt like before and it still made me dizzy while walking. I was glad that I made Ann to come with me just to make sure or who knows what happened to me.
The pain appeared unexpected and as I remember I should be fully recovered. But it wasn't just that, when the pain hit, something crossed my mind at the same time. Morgana, the black cat, who I really heard its voice. I thought how Ann would react and I didn't have enough courage to tell her. I thought about this over and over and I stopped when I put my focus on studying. I might be getting crazy...
The bell rang, telling the start of the afternoon classes. Looking at each other and with a nod, the both of us increased our speed to get back to our class. It was a relief the teacher didn't show up yet.
"Safe!" Ann had a small jump and I smiled how happy she was.
It was great that she's finally going back to her original self the one that put Shiho and I's mood to good and shooing the bad atmosphere away.
When I first met Ann in middle school, she was totally quiet all the time. The three of us weren't still friends and I was shy type that time. I didn't have too much friends so I usually just read a book or study, but I always saw her just staring outside the window and walking on the hallways alone with her head hanging low. Then one day, I approached her. Her answers were short but it changed and as well as Shiho came to us after weeks had passed by.
That memory remained the smile on my face. I was seeing the same old Ann who I met in middle school, and hadn't changed even a bit.
With a clenched hands, I talked. "Hey Ann."
"Yeah?"
"I want to talk to you something--"
"Please take your seats everyone! Mr. Ushimaru is on his way." The class president announced and everyone went into hurry hearing the name of the terrifying teacher.
"Yikes... Let's talk about it after school." I nod and we went to our seats and at the exact time Mr. Ushimaru came in.

"Stand!"
"Thank you for teaching us!"
"Go home safely!"
We bowed to our last teacher and everyone prepared their things to leave. Few chatting with others, some waiting for the right time to leave but most were already going home.
Thump! Thump!
I joggled my notebooks to align them before putting into my bag. Then, I slumped against my desk with a huge sigh. Crossing my arms above the flat surface, I laid my head onto it in sideway.
"Three minutes nap won't hurt..."
When I was about to close my eye, someone had smashed their hands on my desk that made me jolted up in surprise.
