Lois' POV
Four days of recovery quickly passed by. I was able to visit Shiho at night sometimes together with Ann. It also served as my exercise to regain my legs functioning.
Here I was facing the mirror inside the bathroom brushing my long white hair. After I removed all the tangles, I made two braids near halfway on each side before meeting and tying them together at the back. I fixed my bangs with my hand until I got satisfied to it.
I was in school's white long sleeve turtleneck for female and their black and red pleated plaid skirts with suspenders beneath the black vest with a small pin on the collar that had number two. I sat on a chair to wear my mid-thigh black stockings and two-inches black wedge shoes. Yeah, I was kinda small but when I wore this I was close to Ann's height.
"Lois are you done?" Mom called from the door and at the same time I was finished.
"Yes, just a sec." I took a medical eyepatch from the counter and covered my right eye with it. Then, I took my folded hospital clothes before leaving the bathroom.
"Let me take that, sweetie. Go get your school bag." She took the clothes and I did as she told. I've also picked my phone on the table and we left the room.
Once I stepped outside of the hospital, I took a big inhale and exhaled with a big smile. "It feels great to be out."
"You don't want me to accompany you to your school?" Mom asked from behind.
"Sorry mom. I've already planned to go with Ann and she might be waiting at the station right now."
"Okay then, take care and give us a call if something happens."
"Noted. I'm off. Please tell dad bye for me." I kissed her cheek and ran off to the station.

"Guess I'm wrong." I leaned back against the wall and let out a sigh.
The station was bustling with people as usual. Business men and women hurrying, few old men and women, students from other schools, Shujin's students and etc..
Beep! Beep!
I got my phone out and had a message from Ann.

I'm so sorry Lois! I woke up late! I'll be there soon!

It's okay. I'm not going to leave without you.

I put my phone back in the pocket and watched the sky as I waited. Some people were looking at me weirdly. Maybe because of the eyepatch or my natural white hair color? I didn't want to hide my right eye, but I had to. I had two different eye colors in short, hetero-chromic eyes, sky blue on the left and kind of yellowish on the right. My right eye wasn't I call normal, whenever I let my right eye out I easily get dizzy or something like having two visions. It was scary for me so I hid it as a secret from Ann, Shiho and my parents.
I just let them think I don't want different eye colors.
"I'm here!" I averted my gaze from the sky and saw Ann rushed to my side. "Sorry for the wait. Let's go?"
