Chapter 10: Of Revelation

Third Person's POV

"No, it was an another place, and I'll show you to that later..."

The trio nodded as a confirmation and the cat inhaled then exhaled some oxygen to ready himself in telling the story.

"A few days ago before I stepped into Kamoshida's palace, in this place I was fighting shadows as I ran deeper of this place. But the deeper I ran, the more shadows was coming out. Small, big, one, and in groups. I also ran into a shadow that no matter what I did, it was a very strong one. I was getting weaker every minute, being tossed here and there, and funny as I thought meeting Death eventually."

Morgana sat and raised his paw to scratch behind his right ear whilst the four of them listened attentively.

"I actually did, but he wasn't aiming for me... but to the shadows... In just a blink of an eye, all of the shadows including the strongest was annihilated. And the last thing I remembered was we were surrounded by purple flames, and the silhouette of a girl. My vision had blurried when I saw her reaching for me, but she left me a clue if ever I'll go look for her. Dark purple eyes, so dark and it glowed that I was somewhat in a state of hypnosis and felt like falling to an abyss of something sinister. And that made me think, if she was an ally? or a wolf in a sheep's clothing..."

Silence had rained upon them after hearing that short story, especially to the trio. Fighting shadows took them for awhile to give them defeat or make them surrender, but from what Morgana had said the girl was obviously strong. She would be an asset for the team to have her, she could be the trump card. But if it was the opposite, then it would be a huge problem. And she would be the other thing they would need to think of in case they would be in a difficult situation because they didn't know when she would reappear to Morgana, or them.

"Anyway, it looks like we're gonna have an addition to our team. But not right away, we don't know what abilities nor persona you have so you have to show me, to us, that you can keep up to our operations."

The cat broke the stillness lingering around them by smiling to the white haired girl and she paid it with a gentle smile.

"Sounds like we will commit something illegal." She laughed as she tried to say it as a joke but Morgana had a crooked smile on her furry face.

"Technically, the way we will do it is illegal because we steal." The girl's reaction quickly changed to nervousness and Morgana hurriedly made clear to her. "N-Not in the real world though, because the police will actually catch us! If they can... But we can't do that since the four of you are still underage and frizzy hair right here is still on probation. We only steal the hidden treasure of a person in their palaces, or the person's wicked thoughts and desires that takes form any kind of thing and once we steal it will change them. I'll explain the precise and other details to you some other time."

Lois let out a sigh of relief but stopped when the cat added more. "But come to think of it, there might be police involve since stealing the treasure of the person's affects their behavior in the actual world and we must not forget that several people like students know that phantom thieves is involved in the Kamoshida's case."

Ann and Ryuji entered the scene immediately seeing Lois had changed expression again. "That didn't help!!"

Then just like before, the door opened and that caught the five off guard. In a second, they turned to the direction of a newcomer who was no other than the Student Council President herself. Morgana immediately scurried off, hiding himself while the rest of them tried to act normal.

"This place is off limits, you know."

"...We''ll get outta here once we're done chattin'. Anyways, what's Miss Council President want with us?"
