Lois' POV
Clank! Clank!
'Huh? What are these?'
My eyelids opened and I was greeted by darkness. My hands were hung by shackles from above and same as for my ankles. I wiggled my hands but the tightness on my wrist was preventing me and stinging in pain.
Plink! Plink!
A sound of water dripping entered my ears and I assumed it wasn't that far. I pointed my toes if I could feel something solid but only liquid. Speaking of liquid, my body feels wet and whatever I was wearing was sticking onto my skin and same with my hair too.
I see you have finally opened your eyes
A loud booming voice echoed and I suddenly felt myself pulled under. I was wiggling to get out when I realized I was in the water and it started to get into my lungs. I tried to get free that coldness started to consume my body and bubbles formed from my movements.
Until I was out, unconscious...

"Lois!" My eyes immediately opened and I found myself panting. I was in my room laying on my bed and my mother was standing on the side, removing my bangs on my forehead because it was sticking onto it.
"Your alarm has been ringing nonstop downstairs so I decided to check you out and found you thrashing around your bed."
I sat up and took the glass of water on my table to calm myself. My heart was still beating fast as if I ran a marathon while wiping the sweat with sleeves.
"You still have time. Go and prepare yourself. I'll just finish cooking your breakfast." She kissed me on the forehead and walked out, closing the door behind her.
Beep!
I took my phone beside my pillows and had a message from Ann.

Good morning! Let's ride together! Wait for me at the station. Sorry... I just woke up.

Good Morning. Don't worry, I just woke up too. So, I don't know which of us would wait for the other one. ^_^

I got off and tidied my bed before walking into my bathroom with my uniform. After doing my morning routine inside, I wore my uniform and brushed my hair and did my hairstyle. I looked at my reflection on the mirror and the first thing I noticed were my eyes.
I placed a hand on my right and my blue eye saw a normal vision but when a placed on my left, my right eye quickly made me dizzy. Just like now, I saw no reflection of myself but my surroundings were the same.
I let out a heavy sigh and took my medical eyepatch before covering my right eye. Leaving the bathroom, I got my bag from the chair and my phone. I closed the door of my room and headed downstairs.
"Good morning dad."
"Good morning darling."
Dad was sitting on the sofa reading a newspaper with coffee on the small table. I kissed his cheek and walked towards the kitchen where my mom was.
