Chapter Seven
Hilary woke up bright and early. IT WAS CORONATION DAY! Hilary couldn’t believe it was already here! She looked at her window that outlooked the front of the castle. She saw trucks filled with chairs, tables, and everything they needed for the party!
But the only problem was her stomach area hurt her so much, even if she moved just a little bit.
She tried to get out of bed and succeeded! A little problem wasn’t going to stop her!
She walked downstairs and saw Brianna and Cody at the table
smiling. “Happy birthday!” Brianna said and them Chef came out with plates filled with bacon, eggs, sausage, omelets, smoothies, and everything else that you need to have a perfect breakfast! The only problem was that Hilary’s stomach problem was so intense, she didn’t want to eat. She didn’t want to disappoint chef though, so she ate as much as she could.
After she ate, the pain was much, much worse. It was almost seven fifteen when she was done with breakfast, so she went up to her room. Aggie was coming over at eight to get ready so she had forty-five minutes to do whatever. Hilary decided to lay down and read. Since Hilary didn’t have any books besides her fairytales she decided to borrow a book from Brianna’s room.
When Hilary went over to Brianna’s room it was a mess which was surprising for Brianna because she is a clean freak. She looked around on her sisters bookshelf but found nothing interesting. They were all books that tried to teach you something! Bleh! Hilary hated learning stuff out of school. She eventually found a book on the history of dogs but didn’t get to start it because then Brianna burst into the room screaming, “UGH! WHERE IS THAT GIFT! I KNOW I PUT THAT THING SOMEWHERE IN HERE! THAT THING COST A FORTUNE! IF CODY HAS IT I’ll…” she stopped yelling when she saw her sister sitting on the ground.
“Oh,” Brianna said looking red in the face “It’s you. Whatcha doing in here?”
“Reading” said Hilary holding up the book for Brianna to see.
“Oh a book about dogs,” said Brianna walking over to her and sitting on the ground with her. “I bet you really want one.”
“Oh yeah! I’d do anything to have a dog!”
“Sorry that you can’t. I wish I could somehow bend rules for you but…”
“Oh no it’s not your fault that stupid rule is here!”
“Yeah.”
There was a moment of silent but then Brianna broke it.
“I want you to know,” she said looking Hilary right in the eye “No matter what I say or do. I will always love you. Always.”
“Aww. I will always love you too!”
They hugged for a while. Then they heard the doorbell sound throughout the whole kingdom. Aggie!
“I think that is for you.” Brianna said motioning to the door, smiling.
“Yay!” Hilary said running out. Then halfway through the door she stopped mid step. “Hey Brianna.” she said. “Thanks.”
“For what?” her sister said.
“Everything.”
And with that she ran downstairs to open the door.
