Chapter Nine
People were coming in by the dozen. All of them would look at Hilary, smile, and hug her. At first Hilary was confused because she didn’t know the people hugging her but then they would say, “You look so much like your mother!” so she realized they were friends of her mom.
Three girls walked into the room and they looked familiar to Hilary.
“Bella! Lorena! Kat!” Hilary practically screamed.
The three girls ran over to Hilary and all hugged her.
“I haven’t seen you since we were nine years old!” Bella said.
“Yeah,” Kat said jumping up and down. “I have missed you so much!”
“Where is everyone?” asked Lorena. “Brianna, Cody, Queen Stephanie, King Shane.”
The smile disappeared from Hilary’s face.
“Tell them.” said Aggie who was standing next to her.
“Well,” started Hilary. “When I was nine my mom and dad were both
killed by a leader of another land. That’s why I lost touch with you guys.
With all the planning of the funeral and everything I never got to talk to friends much. We kind of drifted apart I guess.”
They all looked shocked. Their eyes were wide.
Kat broke the silence as always. “So who is this?” she asked motioning to
                              Aggie.
“Oh this is Aggie!” Hilary said smiling. “After her mom lost her job she
moved into the guest houses. We have been best friends ever since!”
Kat nodded, making her red hair shake.
Kat, short for Katherine, was a tall girl. She had red hair with side bangs and tons of freckles on her cheeks. She was the princess of Galifranian. Her personality was funny and adventurous. At the time she was wearing a short red dress and silver flats. Her red hair was curled and pulled into a ponytail.
Bella was the exact opposite of Kat. She was petite with tan skin and dark brown hair. She was the princess of Izland. Her personality was girly yet sporty. She was wearing a short black dress with white polka dots and a red sweater. She also had yellow flats on.
Lorena was a normal size. She had tan skin, like Bella, and brown hair. She was the princess of Nemaheim. Her personality was sporty. She loved to play volleyball! She was wearing a short purple dress and black boots. She had an edgy style.
Suddenly Hilary’s side started to hurt. The pain was unexplainable. She held her side and fell to the ground. She moaned and moaned. Then everything went dark.
