The days passed by in a blur for Yoongi and Jungkook. They spent time together everyday, trying to figure out the root cause of Jungkook's depression and if there were things other than depression.

Jungkook had also made progress in the meantime. Yoongi had reduced his dosage and Jungkook was sleeping much better. Of course, that meant Yoongi went back home only after 9 but he never complained. How could he when Jungkook never failed to stroke his ego, even though unknowingly. Yoongi and Jungkook got closer as time went on, the jokes increased, the awkward silences were on a steady decline. Jungkook was also gaining weight with Yoongi's breakfasts and the improved meals. The walls of the hallways were being painted and Jungkook was an active part, as proposed by Yoongi.

Yoongi was glad to see so much progress in his patients. He didn't notice the changes in himself as he let himself get more involved than usual. His closeness with Jungkook, the one he maintained at a professional level usually with his patients had transformed into a closeness at a personal level. Yoongi would talk Jungkook to sleep at times on days he couldn't be at the hospital till late and his heart warmed whenever he heard Jungkook's breathing evening out. And those times he slept in his lap? His mind censored the memories of when he got too drowsy himself and pressed a kiss against his forehead before drifting off to sleep himself against the wall. It had been almost a month and after visiting Rose, Jungkook and Yoongi had once again come out to visit a gallery.

On one particular day when they were out of the hospital again Jungkook would opper a particular question to Yoongi.

"Hyung, can we go to that," Jungkook pointed at a somewhat smaller cafe on the corner of the street. "Cafe there," He finished with a smile. "It's a cafe where I went with Taehyung," He said as he walked to it. Hoping Yoongi would follow him.

"Yeah sure, careful of the roads!" Yoongi called after him, walking briskly to catch up, before linking his arm with Jungkook's. "So you don't fall or run ahead. It's an empty café, why are you rushing?" Yoongi chuckled, walking quick still, so he could keep up with Jungkook.

"I don't know," Jungkook said with a smile as he opened the door to the cafe walking in. He walked counter and ordered a coffee for Yoongi and a Tea for himself, he didn't drink coffee that much since he already didn't sleep too well. When he turned around he saw one person in the corner. His eyes went big and his muscles tightened.

"N-no." He mumbled softly as he faced Yoongi.

"What is it?" Yoongi asked, resting his hand on his shoulder. He took a brief look back and saw Taehyung. He recognised him from the pictures Jimin had shown him.

"Okay Jungkook, you can do this okay? Concentrate on me. I'm right here. Nobody can harm you with me here, alright?" Yoongi spoke slowly to Jungkook, keeping eye contact sternly.

"H-he can," Jungkook said as he looked back at Taehyung. He couldn't stop staring at him. He was alone reading a magazine in the corner. Jungkook wanted to look away so bad, but he got crashed with memories.

"What do you want to do, Jungkook? Go talk to him? Ask him questions? Walk away from your past again? Jungkook we've been over this and you know you have to face your past. You need to make peace with it. With Taehyung too if you consider him your past." Yoongi sounded stern but he wasn't going to let Jungkook let their progress of a month slip through his fingers like this.

"I-I k-know m-my answers w-why he did this, h-he s-saw what I-I didn't s-see myself," Jungkook said looking at Yoongi again.

"I still want to speak to him." Jungkook said as he looked assured of is decision. He wasn't going to act sad or depressed in front of Taehyung.
