Pref 67 - You're Pregnant, He Doesn't Want A Kid

hey, just an fyi -- none of these will include them getting an abortion bc I don't believe in abortion unless like rape circumstances, it could harm the mother, or if the girl is too young but since the boys are all 20+ they should all be able to handle the responsibilities! so if this bothers you, I'm sorry.

Michael

Three positive pregnancy tests are sitting on the counter and you can not believe your eyes. You don't know whether to be happy or upset. You're going to be a mother, but Michael isn't ready to have a kid yet. He keeps talking about how he wants to take things slow and how he isn't going to let anything get in the way of his tour. Telling him will be a hard, but necessary, decision.

Luckily for you, he still hasn't left for tour yet, so you have time to tell him before he leaves. You have a feeling that he will overreact even more through the phone. The front door opens and you know that now is the time.

"Baby, I'm home!" You hear Michael yell and you run into the entryway to give him a hug.

"Wow, I get a hug. You must've really missed me."

You don't say anything and tears start steadily streaming down your face.

"What's wrong, babe?"

"I-I'm sorry, Mikey. You're gonna want to leave me when I tell you th-"

"I'm never leaving you, unless you cheat on me. Did you?"

"No, no, no I would never do a thing like that."

"Then what is it?"

"I'm pregnant."

"You're what? How? We've been so careful."

"There's always that 1% y'know or one time something could've been faulty. I don't think I forgot to take my birth control... I don't know Michael, but I'm sorry. I know you don't want a kid right now."

"I can't believe this is happening. I'm not ready to be a dad. I still want to tour and live my dream, god damn it!"

"Calm down, Michael. You can still do that. I'm not going to trap you here. As long as you're touring, we are making money. I'll just be a housewife for a while, except the wife part."

"I promise, I will take care of this kid when it comes, but I need to keep touring. I don't want to be an absentee dad... I'm so fucking selfish."

"No, you're not. I am so happy that you're living your dream. I can take care of the kiddo, plus he or she still has 9 more months before he pops out."

"I shouldn't be touring for the last two months of your pregnancy, so I'll take care of you, baby. Maybe by that point, I'll be ready to be a father."

"Whether you're ready or not, you'll be a great one."

Calum

You had been pacing around the house for an hour now. Calum is supposed to be home any second now and you have to tell him some major news, you're pregnant. You didn't want to ruin his tour, so you wanted to wait until he made a trip back. Then, they extended the tour so you've been waiting about a month now. All the practice in the world hasn't eased how scared you are to tell Calum.

You hear a car drive up and you see all of the boys get out. That wasn't in the plan, so now you really are terrified.

"Hey boys, why're you all here?"

"Calum told us that you had news and we all wanted to hear."

"Fuck guys, it's a personal thing and Calum isn't going to be happy about it."
