The scene begins in a shower of glitter pouring from above, cascading down over Clan camp and half submerging its residents.

Pridestride: *from the top of an oak tree with a large bucket* PRIDE MOON IS ALMOST OVERRR! D';

Flagswag: Pridestride, it's pride moon every moon of every season for you. *shifts pelt to match the demisexual flag* Does it really matter?

Pridestride: YES. Because THIS pride moon is the most special. It's the moon where Straightfur finally comes out of the closet.

Straightfur: *from across camp* No, no it isn't!

Pridestride: You know what? I think a suitable way to celebrate the near end of pride moon is to have everyone share their coming out stories!

Flagswag: Uh... but no one ever had to come out in QueerClan... we assume everyone's quee -

Pridestride: - Hush, child! Straightfur, come along.

Straightfur: *longgg sigh* Fineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Pridestride: YAY!

Several very gay moments later...

Fluidstream: *speaking to Pridestride and Straightfur* Well, when I was born, Aceface couldn't decide whether I was a tom or she-cat! And that's how I came out as genderfluid.

Straightfur: Seriously? So let me get this straight -

Pridestride: *snickers* Heheh..."straight"... heheheh. *snorts*

Straightfur: -_- Nevermind. I'll just pretend his/her/their story makes sense to me.

Fluidstream: It's "her" today, by the way.

Straightfur: Her, then.

Fluidstream: Wait, no... they. No, he! Ugh, I can't figure it out! *stomps away, grumbling*

Pridestride: Okayyyy, let's go talk to Fluidstream's mate, Pansand! Whee! *bounces off with a very bored, yet somewhat amused looking Straightfur trailing behind*

The two cats meet up with Pansand, who is busy grooming his tail in the shade of an oak tree. He looks up as they approach.

Pansand: 'Ello.

Pridestride: *leaning backwards to look at the very large, buff tom* Yooo wanna tell Straightfur how you came out as pan?

Pansand: *in a deep, gruff voice* I like cats regardless of gender...

Straightfur: *nervously avoids Pansand's gaze* ...

Pansand: ... but I like Fluidstream the best.

Pridestride: But, how did you come out to the clan?

Pansand: I came out of my mother, that's how.

Gayday: *pops out from behind the tree* HAH! That's a good one, Pansand! *attempts to give Pansand a high paw*

Pansand: *stares at Gayday's paw*

Gayday: High paw? No? Okay... *goes back behind the tree*

Straightfur: I still don't get what this is for, though. If everyone knew what they were when they were born, then wouldn't I know what I am?

Gayday: Dude, that's deep. *pads away to go flirt with Queerdeer*

Pridestride: Welp, I tried. Good luck, youngster. *pats Straightfur with his tail and retires to the elders' den*

Straightfur: This has been a weird day... *pauses* come to think of it, every day here is weird.

Pansand: Tell me about it, kid.
