Chapter 25: New York

*Samael P.O.V*
I need to find my brother, I need to end his life. He needs to suffer eternal doom, he's a disgrace. He's nothing but a dumb outcast. I just laugh knowing he isn't excepted to The Outsiders or The Insiders. And the girl, she knows I have a witch. I need to do something about her.

*Aphrodite P.O.V*
We finally get to New York and let me just say, wow it's super crowded. A lot of business people here. Urian and I were holding hands so we don't loose each other. We only have each other left. I needed to find a cheap hotel, but the problem is I didn't bring my phone. I didn't want anyone to track me down. We got out of the airport and we stopped a taxi for us. I told the taxi to take us to the nearest cheap hotel.

The taxi driver took us to Hotel Pennsylvania. We went to check in for 3 days which I was surprised it was 98$. They even have free breakfast, and it comes with free wifi. The person took us to our room, and when we got there, there was only one bed.

As Urian was about to say something, the person left. Hey at least there was a computer, I can check out fun things to do. But today me Urian wanted to relax cause we're jet lagged. Urian went to go take a shower, and I turned on the tv. I started to hear whispers, and I looked around. I couldn't see anyone but I heard from the vents. "Aphrodite... its Lacie, you've better not forgotten about me." The voice said. I didn't want to believe it was her. "Believe in me..." the voice keeps saying. I kept repeating no, and one point I start freaking out. I feel someone put their arms around and they put me on the floor still carrying me. I started crying, and the warm hands were comforting me. I turned around to see Urian, he had came back from a shower. He told me to take a nap.

After I woken up from a nap I looked around a saw Urian. His hands are wrapped around his face. I went right beside him and unfolded his hands. "What's wrong?" I asked softly, "How long do you think we'll be here?" I shrugged my shoulder, I held his hand."Trust me, we aren't gonna be here forever." I said, well I hope we weren't gonna be here forever. I was bored, and I had an idea. "Hey let's play 20 questions," I suggested. "Yeah sure, since you suggested you go first." He said smiling.
A-"Have you ever loved anyone?"
U- he laughs,"Yeah, umm my brother stole her. But it turns out she didn't love anyone. What are you?"
A- She struggles at the question,"I don't know."
U- "Yes you do, I might not be a werewolf but I can tell when you're lying." He laughs.
A-"I'm a siren, my friends don't know I am. I figured that out, when I found out my abilities. They don't know I know. Anyway what side are you on?"
U- "I'm not accepted to the Outsider or Insider world. Speaking of them you should know more about them."
A-"Can you please tell me about them?"
U- "No one knows how the Outsiders are not accepted to the supernatural afterlife. Everything started in Greece, the outsider family had all the power but they didn't have the power to defeat one of the most powerful witches. Her name is Lilith Jinx, no one knows where she is. Lilith is an insider, like my brother. At the time I was born as a curse, so I wasn't accepted to the Outsiders or Insider. So I was one of the earliest outcasts. Outcasts are blind and have silver arrows that can kill you right away. But I wasn't like that, because my curse is much worse. My brother took me to the Eichen house, hoping he could finish me there. He kept me tortured for years, but I never understood why he didn't kill me. And sirens are really rare, I'm surprised you're one. But you're not just any type of siren. I think you invented a type of siren. Which there's only one type of siren, which is a siren itself. You can fight really good. You're really smart. Anyway, what was the weirdest thing you've ever experienced?"
A- She was thinking,"Umm well there's this tree stump that I go to. I'm pretty sure it's called the Nemeton. I haven't been there for awhile."
U- He started thinking, and he couldn't believe who she was. "You're the cursed child!"
A- She was so confused, "what do you mean cursed child?"
U-"I'm sorry I'm overthinking. The Nemeton finds you special but I don't know why. I think it's because of your supernatural species. But the cursed child, is a insider and outsider combined. They're a cure for outcasts, for them to be accepted. The cursed child is a target for the Insiders and outcasts. No one knows who is the cursed child. The cursed child also has a lot of power."
A- "Wow that's brutal. Have you ever fallen in love with someone else?"
U- He pauses for a bit, he wants to tell her but he's not sure. "Well, I think I have feelings for this girl. She's really smart but the problem is she has a boyfriend and she's very loyal to him. Her boyfriend doesn't deserve her." As he says that he starts to feel emotions towards Aphrodite.
A-"Hmm she must be real special." Aphrodite giggles.
U- He smiles,"Hey, in getting tired but I'm gonna ask you one question. Do you love Liam?"
A- "Yes, even tho he gets me mad sometimes. I-- I.."
U- "You don't feel like he's there ever since you the Eichen House."
Aphrodite nods. Urian was super tired so he decided to fall asleep. Aphrodite decided to look for fun activities.

It was finally morning and Aphrodite  started to take a shower. She didn't sleep at all. She thought about Liam, ALL NIGHT. Urian started to get change.
