Chapter 11

Jay POV*

Ive been worried about Katie all day. I want her to be okay. We arent dating.. I mean we had one date but... I dont even know what we have.. Voight gathered all of us together.

Voight: Jin tracked the van and we got the address. Lets go get Gabby back.

We went to the address and had proceeded with caution. We slowly walked in to see Gabby on the floor shaking. The guys back was turned.

Me: FREEZE
Voight: PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR
Erin: POLICE

Just then one of them took gabby and ran through the warehouse. Ruzek&Olinsky took care of the other two, me antonio erin and voight ran.

Guy: take on step closer and i blow her brains out.
Katie: well how about i do it to you first.

She held the gun to his head.

Katie: drop your gun and let go of the girl. NOW!
Guy: and what if i dont?
Katie: look you got under 60 seconds till this warehouse is full of uniforms and they have to shoot your ass and drag you out in a black bag. Now what would you rather have?
Guy: bitch.
Katie: DROP YOUR FUCKING WEAPON NOW!! Or i shoot

Her yell made us all jump. He looked like he was about to pull the trigger. I signaled Katie to grab Gabby and i would shoot. She grabbed her and they backed away as i shot. Gabby hugged Katie in relief.

Katie: its okay. Your okay.
Antonio walked over to them.

Katie POV*

Gabby was hugging me. Then Antonio walked over and they hugged with tears.

Gabby: thank you. So much. Seriously
Me: anything for family
Gabby: i owe you a free drink at Molly's

We laughed. Erin walked over.

Erin: lets go get you cleaned up.

Erin took Gabby out to the ambulance waiting.

Antonio: hey look im sorry for what i said. I didnt mean it. I just wanted Gabby safe.
Me: its fine..
Antonio: can we start over and be friends?
Me: sure

I went for an exploding fist bump but he had a high five waiting.

Me: what? You dont do the exploding fist bump?
Antonio: erin hates that
Me: im not erin

We laughed and did it. Just as we were walking out Jay walked up to me.

Jay: hey..
Me: hey
Jay: so uhm-
Voight: can i talk to you Katie for a second?
Me: sure

We walked away from Jay who i could tell wanted to tell me something.

Voight: how are you here?
Me: i followed you guys
Voight: you did good kid
Me: thanks
Voight: but try that pill stunt again and ill run you out of this unit like that *snaps his fingers*
Me: okay

Voight walked away.

Antonio POV*

I called the chief down at 51 because Gabby wanted to surprise everyone. I didnt tell him anything i just told him to gather everyone together before shift ends. Gabby came in my car. We all walked into the meeting room and saw everyone sitting anxious.

Casey: so?
I was about to speak when Gabby pushed past us and yelled.
Gabby: SURPRISE!
Everyone: ayee!!!

She hugged everyone as they all teared up with joy.
Herman: PARTY AT MOLLYS TONIGHT!
Everyone: wooo!!

* At Molly's *

Erin POV*

Me Alvin Adam Jay Katie and Antonio were at a table together.

Antonio raises his shot glass: two things. One: you guys are fucking crazy as hell and Two: i love you all like a family. Cheers!
Everyone: cheers!!

We all took our shot.

Jay: ill be back. Katie come with?

She nodded and they walked off. I know somethings going on.. But im just jealous i guess. I dont know. I decided to follow them to see whats going on.
