Chapter 29

I decided not to do the chapter with the bombing since i lost the idea for it loll. So here is a chapter of which i think will happen on the upcoming episode from what ive seen on the commercial!
Btw whatever is in here ive only seen on the commercials and i came up with a different story line.
----------------------------------------------*three months later*

Erin POV*

Voight called me into his office.

Me: whats up?
Voight; whats Charlie Pugilsi doing back in town?

I closed his door so no one could hear.

Me: i dont know. But im going to handle it
Voight: the deal was, i take you in and he stays the hell out of Illinois
Me: i said ill handle it
Voight: dont go back Erin. took me long enough to pull you out i cant lose you again.
Me: im gonna handle it.

Just then we heard gun shots. Everyone ran outside to see a car speed off and a guy was on the ground across the street. Halstead Antonio Katie and I ran over. Antonio felt his neck.

Antonio: hes dead.
Voight: Erin.

I walked over to him.

Me: yeah?
Voight: go find Charlie. Now.
Me: got it. Katie come with me.

Me and Katie got into my car and we drove off from the scene.

Katie: so whats going on?
Me: remember Charlie Pugilsi?
Katie: yeah. He was the one that-
Me: i remember Katie. Anyway Voight knows hes back and i gotta talk to him.
Katie: okay.

We pulled up to a house that looked worn down. Charlie lived there, he always did.

Me: stay here.

Katie nodded. I got out and took a deep breath as i walked up to the house. I knocked on the door and Charlie opened it.

Charlie: Erin.
Me: can we talk?

He invited me in. It smelt like weed in there and i almost gaged.

Me: why are you back in Illinois?
Charlie: i wanted to come back. And i wanted to call you to get you to help me
Me: im done with all that Charlie. You abused me. Im not going back there.
Charlie: cmon just stay.
Me: im a cop now, and i can arrest you.
Charlie: im not leaving till you help me
Me: Voight will make you leave
Charlie: nah he wont
Me: alright. We'll see about that

I walked out. Charlie stood at the door. I got to the car and he was staring at me and Katie.

Katie; everything alright?
Me; yup

We drove off. We went back to the district. Voight pulled me into his office.

Voight: so?
Me: he wont leave. But im gonna handle it. I promise
Voight: alright. If he tries anything again though-
Me: i know ill call you
Voight: your a tough kid and i dont wanna see you hurt
Me: i know. Thanks Hank.

I walked out and sat at my desk. I tried to think of a way to get Charlie to leave. I will admit i was tempted to go back to him but i cant. I cant put myself in danger.

Katie POV*

I was in the break room eating my salad. Jay walked in.

Jay: hey cutie
Me: hey babe
Jay: so whats that thing with Erin?
Me: Jay.. I dont wanna talk about that

I continued eating my salad. He was gonna try to get it out of me.

Jay: tell me.
Me: Jay, its her life and i only know it because she told me. It took her years to open up to me. Im not gonna open up her secrets like a book.
Jay: okay, im sorry

I got up and went back out to my desk. I cant believe he would try to get Erin's information out of me. Right now my main priority is to protect her. I walked into Voight's office and shut the door.

Me: im gonna keep a watch after Erin
Voight: why?
Me: she told me about Pugilsi.
Voight: did she say what happened after she spoke to him?
Me: no. But im gonna watch her. Alright?
Voight: make sure she dont go backwards.
Me: we cant lose her again.
Voight: i know. But Charlie has gotten stronger. I had eyes on him in Georgia and he can fight hard.
Me: dont worry ill keep an eye out
Voight: thanks kid
Me: no problem

I walked out and sat at my desk. At the end of the day Erin and I went back to the apartment. I made us dinner. I was gonna try to get it out of Erin about her and Charlie.

Me: so whats going on with Charlie?
Erin: hes tryna drag me back but im not going back..
Me: good. Dont

Erin POV*

I know Voight was doing something to get Katie to make me spill. I had to keep my mouth shut. I will admit im thinking about seeing Charlie tonight but another part of me is telling me no no no! What do i do?....
