I look at bright red heels with gold on the bottom. "What size does your mom wear?" I ask looking through the boxes.

"Five," he responds.

I grab the box that says fives and put it in the cart I made Wade get. "You know you should get your mom something." I say as I look at white flats with a pink bow on them. I have no idea what kind of shoes she likes so I'm gonna buy at least five pairs.

"I'm paying for these, you can do all the picking. It can be from both of us." He says, I turn around shaking my head.

"No, I am." I say, he shakes his head. I roll my eyes and start to make myself fake cry, he hates seeing me cry. "Wade I just want this to be perfect, I'm going to meet your parents and I feel like if I don't pay for these it won't be from me. And then I will feel bad-" I cry, he wraps his arms around me and hugs me.

"Aw, Rhys. Okay, you can pay half of it. Will that make you feel better?" He asks. I nod my head.

"Promise?" I sniff.

"Yes, I promise." He says softly. I almost feel guilty, almost. I can pay for things on my own.

"Good. Okay so I was thinking we could get her a dress that matches the red heels." I say in a regular voice. He stares at me for a moment before shaking his head.

"You just fake cried. That's so not fair! I'm paying for them." He clears his arms with a smug look.

"You promised that I could pay half." I pat his cheek.

"That was when I thought you were actually crying-"

"A promise is a promise." I say, he opens his mouth to say something but I interrupt him. "Promised." Every time he tries to talk I say promised for five minuets. He put his hand over my mouth as I drop the a blue pair of heels in the cart with the other five. I think this is enough. Dress shopping!

"Baby, I need to use the bathroom." He says. I nod my head. "I'll pay for these and then I'll go to the bathroom."

"We will pay for these." I correct him. After paying for the shoes he sits me on the bench with the bags. "Wade, can I play a game on your phone?" I ask as sets the bags in front of me.

"As long as you stay of Clash Of Clans, last time you really messed me up." He hands me his phone and smiles at me.

"What of someone calls?" I ask as my fingers hover over Clash Of Clans.

"Then pick it up," he kisses my chief and looks down at his phone in my hands. "Rhys I am so serious." He warns me before going into the bathroom. I take one more glance at the game before playing a racing game.

A couple minuets later Wade exits the bathroom, but I'm too busy playing the game to care. Wade tries to kiss me, but I move his face away. He grumbles that he shouldn't have let me have his phone.

"I'm gonna take these to the car, I'll be right back. Don't move," he says. He presses a kiss against my forehead before carrying the bags away.

A couple minuets later his phone rings just as I am just about to win for the first time. I groan and look at the ID. It's his mom. He said to pick up his phone if someone calls, but this is his mom.

I press the green button and put the phone to my ear. I don't know why I'm so nervous, it's just a phone call. With his mom. With his mom!

"Hey, Wade. You never called so I did." His mothers soft voice flows through the speaker of his phone to my ear. "So, I was thinking that we could take you and your girlfriend out when you get here." She says before I can even say anything.
