I groan as my phone goes off. I swear if Nicole calls me again I'm going to throw my phone out the window.

Aiden's name pops on my phone and I roll my eyes. He probably gonna brag that he's with my girlfriend-ex girlfriend- and I'm not. I miss her. But she doesn't want me, I'm so mad at her.

I can't believe she broke up with me. She left her bag at the gym so I grabbed it for her and dropped it off at her house just now even know she's been missing it for two days Her parents invited me in, but I told them no. I guess they don't know then.

I really want Rhys to meet my mom, I've got feelings for Rhys and I'm not sure if she feels them back, but she broke up with me so easily. I can't believe I told her that I would take Kara. Worst thing ever. I would never bring her even if Rhys didn't go. I'll have to call my mom and tell her that Rhys broke up with me.

Aiden's name pops up on my screen for the fourth time. I roll my eyes and stab the green button with my finger. "What?"

"Wade," he breathes. He sounds like he's freaking out. "Rhys just left my house and she was-"

"I don't care if she's with you or not Aiden!" I snap.

"Would you care if she's so drunk another drink she'd pass out while driving?" He asks. My heart stops.

"What?" I ask as I see ambulance and police in front of me. Looks like a pretty brutal wreck. I'd hate to be in the wreck. I pull to the side so I'm in the way as I pass. "Why would you let her leave?" I ask.

"She left while me and Miguel were in the kitchen. She's not picking up her phone and I'm really worried that she crashed." He says making my heart hurt more.

"Dude, there's a huge crash right here-"

"Is Rhys there? Look for her hummer!" He yells. I wince and look over and see a red hummer wrapped around a pole. The window is shattered and it looks like the person flew out.

"No. That can't be her." I say as I slow down. The paramedics are frantic as the run around the scene. The police are making phone calls.

"What?" Aiden screams. "Rhys crashed? Is it her?" He asks. I quickly pull my car to the side when I see the paw prints on the back window. This is Rhys's hummer. My Rhys just wrecked.

I jump out of the car and run over to the hummer. Rhys is sitting on a stretcher, her eyes open, but there's blood dripping down her face.

I run over to her shoving my phone in my pocket. She's laughing at whatever the young paramedic said. She reached out and touches his hair, a frown falls on her face. She must be thinking of me, how she pets my hair. I love it when she does that. I know I'm falling for her and I'm falling fast. But she doesn't want me and I can't live with out her.

She says something to the paramedic with a sad face, he cocks his head from the side and pats her leg. She giggles and shakes her head.

I walk a little closer and her eyes land on me. She goes rigid before she turns back to the paramedic and says something. He turns his head so he's looking at me over his shoulder. He turns back to her and says something before pointing to her phone and then to himself.

When I get close enough I can hear the last of his words before he starts touching her. "Tell me where it hurts or when it hurts." He says, she nods her head. He runs his hands down her shoulder. He presses his hand in to her stomach. She winces and puts her hand on his. He looks up at her and motions for her to lean back. She does, he lifts up her shirt a bit showing her smooth stomach. A bruise is forming on her diaphragm.

"That's all that hurts." She says, he puts his hand on her back and helps her to a sitting position. I stand a couple feet away, her eyes, sad eyes, land on me. She says something ever so softy to the guy. He nods his head.

"I'm gonna go talk to the head paramedic. Shout if you need me." He says before walking away. She watches him walk away before turning to me. I step in front of her and she sighs.

"What do you want Wade?" She asks crossing her arms.

"You remember a couple days ago when you said I should do what makes me happy?" I ask, she nods her head. "Rhys, you make me happy. You're the only person who makes me happy. I'm so sorry," I say putting my arms around her. "You are the first person I ever told my story to, I can't leave you now. I need you. And you need me." I tell her cupping her cheeks.

"But you said you'd take Kara," she sniffs.

"No, you deserve to meet my mom. I want you to be the first girl I take home. You, Rhys." I say kissing her lightly.

"I'll be the first girl you've taken home?" She asks, her eyes lightening a bunch of shades.

"Yes, baby." I tell her.

"Is it bad that I want you back?" She asks. I shake my head.

"You already have me back." I say pressing a kiss against her lips. She pulls me closer, I tear slides down my cheek, but it's not mine. My eyes open to see her silently crying. "Rhys, what's wrong?" I ask.

"I just destroyed my baby," she nods to her hummer. "And I did something I promised my parents I wouldn't." She says as I wipe her tears. "How am I supposed to explain this?" She asks.

"Um, say you had a few drinks and wasn't drinking?" I offer. She shakes her head.

"I'll be lucky if they even let my drive again and the police are suspending my license. I doubt they are going to let me go to California!" She sighs. Her phone starts ringing, her fathers face. She reaches for it, but I grab it.

"Rhys? Are you okay?! The police called and said you were in a wreck." Her fathers says in a worried voice. I can't help, but smile because her father cares.

"Hey, Mr. Gregory." I say into the phone.

"Tell me my baby's okay." He pleads.

"She's fine, alive and breathing. She has a cut under her eye and a bruise on her diaphragm. The most damage was down to the car. But I assure you that Rhys is okay." I tell him. He breathes out a sigh.

"Now, can you tell me why my daughter was drinking and driving?" He booms through the phone, I pull the phone away from my ear why he's yelling.

"Just tell him I was curious and wanted to try it. I thought I was safe enough to drive and I actually wasn't." She tells me with pleading eyes. I nod my head and rub my thumb over the top of her hand.

"She said that she got curios about drinking and tried it. She thought she was safe enough to drive and wasn't." I explain to him. I hate lying to her parents, but I'll do anything for Rhys.

"You let her drink and drive?" He asks angrily.

"No sir, I wasn't around her when this all happened. I just saw her hummer and pulled over." I explain to him.

"Okay, what did the police say?" He asks more calmly now.

"Her license is suspended for a month."

"That seems reasonable, tell her that she has to pay for her own car as her punishment. When she gets her license back she'll be grounded from her car two weeks after that." He says.

"Okay, sir. Would you like to tell her? She's right here."

"Yeah, that's a good idea."
