I walk down the hallway and open a door hoping it's a bathroom. It's not. It's a baby room. Baby room? She doesn't have any babies...

"Wade and Jeremy don't know yet." Leslie says behind me. I jump and put my hand over my heart. "Sorry, hun."

"Sorry, I was looking for the bathroom. I couldn't hear what you said because Wade was being noisy." I say as my heart rate goes back to normal.

"It's totally fine. I was hoping you would find out because I don't know how Wade will react when I tell him. I was hoping if he freaks out you could maybe calm him down." She says.

"Oh, of course." I say. She smiles.

"Thank you, I'm only wearing this huge sweatshirt so they don't see it. We just figured out the gender, it's a baby girl." she rubs her stomach. "I've never seen him this happy and laughing since the accident. Did he tell you?" I nod my head. Her eyes water. "He was such an angry little boy after that and it made him angry. He wouldn't open up to anyone after that, but now he looks happy with you." She smiles as she wipes her eyes. "We are going to tell the boys over dinner."

"What's in here?" Wade asks walking into the hallway.

"Nothing!" His mom says as he puts his hand on the door knob. I slide in front of the door and put my arms around his neck.

"Nothing, I just opened the wrong door heading to the bathroom. You were being loud." I say taking his hands and putting them around me. He forgets about the door when I put my lips against his. He pulls me closer, I use my freehand and give his mother a thumbs up. I hear her laugh and leave the hallway.

I use the bathroom quickly and find him leaning against the wall waiting for me. "What's in the room?" He asks.

"Who knows? It's just a room, now come on." I say tugging on his arm. He eyes the door as we walk by, but I tug him along and he forgets about it. If you distract him he will forget.

We sit down on the couch while Martin talks to Jeremy. Leslie puts on a movie and we all sit back and relax. Wade puts his arm around me putting head in my neck not even watching the movie.

He starts kissing my shoulder, I push him away. "Wade, we are at your moms!" I scold him. He smiles against my skin and lays his head on mine.

"You're such a goodie goodie," he kisses my temple. I roll my eyes. "But I look goodie goodies, makes up for my badie badieness." He grins.

"Badie and badieness aren't words." I laugh. He rolls his eyes.

"Let me have my moment," he sniffs. "I think my mom is watching us." He whispers. I smile and look past him to see his smiling mom. Wade puts his head on my shoulder and focuses on the movie.

I play with his hands as he watches the movies. Wade has pretty big hands, I turn them over so I can see his knuckles. They are scarred making his knuckles look darker than his regular skin tone.

I brush my fingers across his knuckles and compare mine to his. My knuckles are scarred, but you can't really see the scares like you can on Wade's.

I'm squished between Wade and Jeremy in the back seat of Leslie's car. Wade's leg overlaps mine and I struggle to not be suffocated between the two board boys.

My arms are tucked to myself and both of their arms over lap mine. "I'm telling you Martin, you should have let them take their own car. Look at Rhys! She's suffocating back there." Leslie says as she looks at me with humor in her eyes.

She pulls out her phone and takes a picture. She does that a lot. Martin looks at me through the rear view mirror, "she takes pictures of everything. You get use to it after awhile." He smiles.
