We all sat around the living room with presents spread everywhere. Me and Wade went and bought a bunch of baby stuff for his mother.

I sat in between Wade's legs with my back pressed against his chest. He insisted that I sit here, he's enjoying himself as he braids-or tries-my hair.

Everyone as their presents passed out in front of them and I begged them to open theirs first. Leslie put a fight, but I eventually won because everyone went on my side.

She opened up her shoes and tears filled her eyes. She is very emotional like I. I can't say I'm that emotional, but she is. "Oh, thank you so much. These are beautiful, Rhys did you pick these out. I don't think Wade could pick something beautiful." She laughs.

"Have you seen me dress, I look nice." He sniffs. I look up at him and grin.

"I pick our your clothes," I remind him.

"No one has to know that." He grumbles, but everyone heard and they are laughing. "You're so mean to me, but I love you." He smiles down at me. His words melt my heart, but I have yet to say it back, but it doesn't seem to bother him. As long as I know he loves me he is happy.

"Oh and baby clothes!" She smiles at Martin. "We have the best kids, and Wade's girlfriend." She says gleefully.

Martin opens his and he is grinning like a fool. I had to keep a scoff away because of my hate for cowboys, but I easily got over it. Everyone has their own opinions, but they just are not correct.

They got Jeremy a new paint job for his car and a tablet of money. Wade makes me open mine from his parents, since we are having Christmas we didn't bring our gifts for each other.

I open the present and smile. It's a diamond ring with a silver ring, it's beautiful. "Oh, it's so pretty. Thank you." I say. Wade slides it on my middle finger. He hands me the next presents. I open them and it's the pictures we took yesterday, they are framed and everything. "Thank you, these are so beautiful."

Wade opens his presents with a smile on his face. He pulls out a laptop and grins. "Oo!" He says happily. He then pulls out a new hoodie with a king sign on the back and paw prints up the sleeve. He looks over the hoodie at his parents. "You guys are the best." He sets the hoodie in my lap and puts his arms around me pulling me closer to his chest.

We exchange thank you's and we all sit on the couches. Tomorrow is our last day here and I'm sad because I really like his parents.

"We are going to go start dinner." Leslie says grabbing Martins hand. Tiredness hits me like a punch that I can not block. I yawn and fall back against Wade's hard chest. He pulls a blanket down and wraps it around us. He holds me tightly as he sits up and puts us on a couch.

I don't leave his lap, but I put my head on his chest and close my eyes.

"Rhys," Wade's deep voice says in my ear. I put my hand on his face, he leans into my touch, but I push his face away. "Rhys, get up." I groan shaking my head. "What if I said I have mashed potatoes."

"I would marry you." I respond with my eyes still closed.

"Well, then I will carry you to the altar of food." He laughs, he puts his arms around me and sets me on my feet. I smile at him and wipe my eyes from their sleepiness.

"I think that I'd rather be married to mashed potatoes. Mm, he would be perfect. White potatoes with brown gravy. Sounds very good, mm, yes." I say as we make our way toward the kitchen.

"I think I should be more worried about food stealing your heart rather than a man." Wade chuckles. He takes my hand and leads me into the kitchen.

We sit down at the table and say grace before digging in to early Christmas dinner. Hey, turkey is turkey, I'm not complaining.

I start on turkey and save the mashed potatoes for last. Everyone says that we should save the best for last, well in this case; that's mashed potatoes.

"I'm so sad that you have to go home tomorrow." Leslie frowns.

"Mom, we will be back. Probably in the spring. I'm heading off to college this year so I'll make it in the spring and this is Wade's last year of school." Jeremy assures his mother.

"Speaking of spring break..." Martin starts. I put my hand in Wade's because I know what he is going to say. "We are getting married!" He exclaims nervous on the reaction of the two boys.

"Cool." Wade says. His mother almost spits her turkey out.

"Awesome." Jeremy nods his head. Martin's eyebrows raise, but a smile breaks over his face.

"You guys are coming?" He asks. The boys nod their head. Wade turns to me.

"You'll come no matter what?" He asks. I nod my head. "Promise?"

"Promise." We lock pinkies and kiss each others hand.

"Good." He says with a boyish smile. "I love you."

"Everyone does." I shrug one shoulder. He rolls his eyes, "kidding."

"I'm not." He offers me a smile.

"Promise that we will go to each other's championships?" I ask.

"Promise." He says quietly.
