Our next class, history.
"After you."
Jay stood aside, he sweetly smiles. His ocean-blue eyes gaze upon me, and yet again, I deeply blush. The butterflies in my stomach go wild, I smile uncontrollably. I enter the room, what is with people and staring? Can't they get on with their lives already?
"Hello Jay, Harvey," Miss grins, "I can see you found him then Jay, well done."
Jay travels back to his seat, I love that cute little smile he has on his face when he turns to check I'm following.
"I've saved you the seat next to me."
He whispers. We both make our way to the seats, place our bags down and open a fresh page in our books. Miss asks me a question. I start to zone out. All I think of is how distressed Saskia had felt, how worthless those girls made her feel, and that I wasn't there to help her. I've been in that place before at my old schools... I get irritated and start to shake from anger.
"Harvey, answer now."
Miss bellows.I aggressively push my chair back and it hits the wall with a huge noise. I attempt to tip my desk over but Jay had already stopped me by grabbing my body and pulling me into a hug. I can hear his heartbeat and feel his warm touch. I calm down instantly. Every student in the class laughs uncontrollably. My eyes fill with tears. I run out the classroom. Without noticing, Jay follows. A couple minutes later I find myself in front of the school gate, it's appears to be open...
"Harvey, don't leave! Let's talk I want to help you!"
Jay shouts in the distance. He rushes by my side and grabs my shoulder to pull me around so I face him.
Our faces are close, his blue eyes automatically silence me."Harvey. I want to help you. I won't laugh at you, I never will. Please tell me what's going on, I hate seeing you so sad."
Jay's voice soothes me."Later..."
I say quietly, I look down at my feet.Jay gently lifted my head back up and didn't let go, we gazed upon each other for a while. A cleaner spots us.
"Get to class, now!"
Her voice scares me.I detach from Jay and run out the gate, I want to go home.
"Harvey no!"
Jay tries to stop me.
