The chase is really on. Their eyes are directly fixed on me, they aren't going to give up that easily. My lungs begin to collapse, my body begs for rest, but I must keep pushing on. I ignore my body, I am focusing on nothing but the path.

"You can run but you will never get away!"
One of them yells.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't terrified.
My mind starts to drift, drift from focus to... Harvey. I slow down, but soon pick myself up.

"I'm doing this for Harvey."
I repeat.

Heavy breaths escape from my mouth, my throat drying up from exhaustion, my eyes beginning to sag, my muscles are sore, but Harvey keeps me going.

Harvey
--------
"I can't stand this anymore!"
I sigh.

I sprint off into the distance, hoping Jay will soon return to me again. I crave his warmth...

Jay
-----
The boys slow down, soon stopping.
I made it to freedom!

"Hah! Losers!"
I exhaustingly laugh as I collapse on the ground.

Harvey
---------
Who on earth is th- My face lit up as soon as I recognise that perfect set of curls...
"Jay!"
I run like never before, I'm desperate to see him.

I kneel down and roll him onto his back.

"Come on Jay, wake up! Please!"
I shake him multiple times, but no answer...
I never gave up, I call his name many times, but still, no reply.

I silence myself, a tear streams down my face. I lie down next to Jay, I wish he'd open his eyes - those ocean blue eyes. I gaze upon his worn-out face, his flustered cheeks. Our noses slightly touch as more tears escape from my bloodshot eyes. I was tired, but that was the least of my worries. I need to make sure he is okay.

-

"H-Harvey..."
Jay groans.

I perk up, "Yes?"
I was extremely glad to hear his soothing voice, although I could tell he was exhausted.

Jay had no energy left to talk properly, but gosh did his eyes talk for him. I sit up, still glaring at his eyes. He needs me and I can honestly tell.

"Come on, I'll take you to mine. You need rest."
I insist.

I try helping Jay up, he groans in pain.

"I know Jay, I'm being extremely careful, I promise."
I hate him like this, so weak...

Jay weakly stands, he wraps his arm around my waist for support, I do the same so he is more stable.

-

We arrive home, my calves burn from tiredness but it was worth it, Jay was by my side and I was happy. I help Jay onto my bed, he let out a sigh of relief.

"W-We done it... we escaped."
He whispers, moving his eyes onto mine.

"We did."
I whisper back.

Silence fills the air for a moment or two, we lock eye-contact and my heart is beating faster while butterflies fill my stomach. I join Jay on the bed, cuddling up next to him - still locking eye-contact. I turn on my side and slowly run my hand through his curls. All of a sudden, we both lean in and our lips connect like matching puzzle pieces, fitting together and mounding perfectly. My heart explodes and the butterflies go insane. The kiss lasts for ages, I am overwhelmed with happiness. We finally part, Jay opens his eyes again.

"I love you, Harvey. I really do."
He whispers.

"I love you more."
I whisper back.
