Jay
-----
My eyes constantly linger around the door. I'm aware I should be focusing on schoolwork, but his face is all I can focus on. I have a constant urge to see him again, but I'm unsure why. As I patiently wait I make sure the seat next to me is free, I desperately want him to sit there. My friend Connor notices me glaring at the door, remaining silent he approaches me.

"Whatcha doin'?"
He laughs confusingly, nudging my arm.

"Oh- nothing."
I weakly smile, bringing my attention on him.

"Hm, okay. You just seem like you're divided from our group, what a shame. Anyway you still up for football next week?"
He alters the subject, instantly.

"Yeah, sure!"
I lie. I'm not into football at all.

Connor smirks,
"Magnificent. I will beat you like always!"
He jokes, his voice becomes quieter as he wanders away.

"Yeah, whatever."
I smirk. I focus back on the door, wishing he would appear any moment.

Harvey
---------
My earphones comfort me. I leisurely inhale the fresh air and try to calm down. Saskia better be okay, I should've done something to help her!

"Hey! Get to second period!"
A nearby cleaner yells.

I briskly shove my headphones in my bag and scuttle inside.

"Forgot the time..."
I whisper under my breath, looking at my watch.

-

"Ugh! I've just been here!"
I launch my bag across the corridor and slide down the lockers placing my head in my hands.

"I'm lost! What an idiot!"

Jay
------
"Marcus?"
Miss spoke.

"Here miss."
He replies.

"Jay?"

"Here miss."
I answer.

"Harvey?"

...

"I said, Harvey?"

No answer.

"Miss, shall I go search for him?" I expeditiously stand, "He's most likely lost. He's the new guy."

Miss nods and allows me to leave. I forsake the class and begin my search. I can't believe I'm doing this. The new boy is giving me endless butterflies in my stomach, but someone tell me why?!

-

I've been to the toilets, outside areas, canteen and most of the halls to find him, but no sign just yet. My heart is heavily pounding, I can't wait to find him- it's like an Easter egg hunt! I proceed with jogging and take several lefts and rights, and oh my gosh- there he is! However, his head is resting in his hands, his bag has been thrown, is he okay? I dart straight towards him like he's a family member in trouble, and lower down on my knees offering my help.

"Hey..."
I gently whisper.

He instantly looks up as if he knows my voice off by heart.

"Damn... those eyes..."
I thought, as I blush a little.

"Jay!"
He beams, he leans in to hug me. Woah!

"Oops, I'm really sorry.."
He stutters with an embarrassing look written all over his face.

I chuckle, "It's alright. Are you lost?"

The pretty boy faces me again,
"Yeah... I'm lost."

I rise to my feet and offer my hand. He grasps on and drags himself up, however, instead of letting go our fingers intertwine- it felt natural. We both gaze upon our hands and smile, and not with just ordinary smiles, it feels more than that.

Harvey
---------
I'm aware of the footsteps from a distance, but I ignore. I don't want to speak to anyone. The footsteps become louder, and louder.

The person softly kneels down, "Hey..."
He whispers.

I knew his voice instantly, it was Jay- no doubt about it! I'm glad he came, it means a lot to me, someone cares!

"Jay!" I smile, without thinking I lean in to hug him, soon after I realise what I just done.

"Oops, I'm sorry..."
I apologise, feeling embarrassment.

He laughs, "It's alright. Are you lost?"

I face him again.

"Yeah... I'm lost."

Jay stands and offers his hand to me, I grasp on and drag myself up but I don't let go, our fingers intertwine, It didn't feel forced at all. We smile at each other, I feel a strong connection with him... dammit! Look what he's doing to me.
