Harvey
-------
The piercing sound from my alarm wakes me up instantly, my ears begin violently ringing. I release a frustrated groan but Jay soon switches it off and afterwards, climbs on top of me and spreads morning kisses around my face.

"Good morning!"
Jay snuggles his head in between my shoulder and collar bone. His warmth breath sends shivers down my spine.

"Morning.."
I groggily say back, I rub my eyes as they are still trying to adjust to the light.

"How are you already up?"
I ask, normally I wake up before Jay.

"Oh. Well- I didn't sleep last night, I wanted to make sure you felt safe."
He lifts his head up and our eyes meet.

"Jay, you didn't have to do that..."
I shyly say, covering my eyes with my hand.

Jay chuckles, "Yes I did, now let's get ready for school."

Jay grasps my hand and gently pulls me up, a groan escapes from my mouth as I lean over to hold my stomach.

"You need food. Now."
Jay says a little sternly, a worried look is written all over his face. Bless him...

We travel to the kitchen together with our fingers intertwined. I take a seat at the island and gaze upon Jay making breakfast for me.

"Let me help..?"
I beg, I hate being lazy.

"Absolutely not. You stay right there."
He widely smiles. Dammit.

After a couple minutes Jay brings over a plate and places it down in front of you.

"One fried egg with toast, avocado and blueberries. Nutritious. Your body needs it."
Jay ruffles my hair and makes his way back to clean up after himself.

-

Closing the door and locking it behind me, Jay and I make our way to school. We've already showered, combed our hair, fed Bailey and done other things like that- doing it together makes mornings far more enjoyable. While ambling down the path we decide not to hold hands, it hurts but it's not safe after what Saskia done.

"So tell me," Jay speaks, "what will you say to Chloe today?"

A sulk appears on my face. I've forgot all about Chloe... oh god.

"I'll just ask her some questions, stuff like that. I'll think of something."
I confidently grin at him, even though I'm not confident at all.

Jay nods at my reply with a raised eyebrow, oh my gosh I just want to leap onto him, wrap my arms around his neck and make-out with him but no. You're in public, Harvey. Snap out of it.

"Okay Harvey, good luck with that."

We burst out laughing together.

-

We reach our destination, school. In the corridor we both receive harsh glares. Many still carry a photograph and Jay's 'friends' instantly turn their backs to us when they spot us. The sad sighs and groans from Jay breaks my heart... I want to kiss him so badly but no, I have to keep my distance. I know that any affection isn't a good idea in a school like this one, so many horrible people. Ugh. Jay and I walk close and try to avoid the crowds surrounding every area. We stop where it's empty because unfortunately we're in different classes for first period and it's making me feel awfully anxious.

"Text me if you need me, and please don't worry about me. I'll be just fine."
Jay pats my back and chuckles.

"Okay... please be careful though."
My eyes drift away from his at the thought of him getting hurt, I stare towards the floor.

"Don't look like that, Harv. It hurts me..."
Jay whispers, placing his finger under my chin and lifting my head back up.

Locking eye-contact, huge smiles appear on both our faces.

"See you soon, Harvey. If I could I would've kissed you goodbye instead."
Jay winks.

I depressingly gaze upon him disappearing into the crowds and, like a needle in a haystack, he's gone.
