The piercing school bell rings for lesson change over.

"Okay class, you may leave."
Sir instructs.

While everyone is moving and packing away, I turn around to see him one last time. Jay rises from his seat, grasps his bag and natters with his group. However, without them noticing he secretly glances back at me. I become awfully shy and turn back around and gaze out the window. Huh? I'm never shy! After a while I decide to leave the class, astonished with how I feel around Jay. The door shuts behind me as I leave. I can see Saskia leaning on a wall and it seems like she's messaging someone because she's subtly laughing.

"Hey, Saskia."
I approach her, giving a half smile.

"Hey." She is finally putting her phone away, "Right, let's take you to second lesson."

I frown, Saskia doesn't seem like she's enjoying hanging out with me. We stroll down two corridors together, attempting to budge past crowds. However, Saskia immediately shrieks.

"Harvey, carry on walking until you reach H10. It shouldn't be too far now..."
She rushes, forcing a smile.

Saskia's eyes widen like a rabbit about to be pounced on, she actually looks terrified! Saskia bolts to the way we just came from, whimpering slightly. A female jostles through the crowds in the opposite direction, her group trailing behind.

"Move, Harvey."

"Chloe..." I deeply sigh.

She's wearing an army crop top with small silver chains around her neck, black skinny jeans and black and white Nike shoes.
Her long dark brown hair lies on her shoulders and she has her make-up caked on.
Her attitude is quite sassy, just how I remember... I begged to never see her again, but here she is! Ugh. I get shoved, but that doesn't bother me. I've been shoved all my life, I've accepted it. What did bother me is that she's going the same way as Saskia is going. I decide to follow, crouching as low as possible but without looking suspicious. I peer from behind a locker. Saskia bolts to the bathroom, Chloe and her group chase her like prey.

"Hey."

I rapidly stand upright and rotate to a new, fresh face. He's leaning against the wall confidently. What does he want?

"Oh- hello..."
I force a greeting.

"My name is Sam," he grins, "I have been instructed by my wonderful tutor to be your 'buddy'. Wow, how exciting!"
He rolls his eyes maliciously with a slight chuckle.

"Yeah- no thanks, I don't need one. I'm coping just fine."
I give some attitude to the guy.

Sam cups both hands around my face to grab my attention. We lock eye-contact. Woah...

"I don't play games."

I shove him away.

"Neither do I, Sam. So if you don't mind, run along. You're just wasting your breath."
I softly say, subtlety rolling my eyes.

"Mate, I don't know what you're doing but spying on the girls bathroom is utterly disgusting, shame on you!"
He blares while grinning, knowing it'll push me over the edge.

Redness spreads around my face from embarrassment -but mainly anger.

"I'm not spying on anyone, I'm looking out for someone!"
I accidentally speak too loudly because
exasperation has been building up.

Silence fills the corridor.
I receive dirty glares from almost everyone.

"Yeah-yeah, of course."
He smirks with a wink.

I pound a nearby locker with force that forms a deafening noise, I dart outside from frustration.

Saskia
----------
I bring myself to a halt as Harvey is following.

"Harvey, carry on walking until you reach H10. It shouldn't be too far now..."
I rush, forcing a smile.

I bolt to the way we just came. I scan the surroundings for a bathroom and leg it.

"No no no no!"
I repeat with a whisper.

"Not again, not again!"

Chloe strikes the door, observing all the stalls. My hands tightly grip my mouth as I try not to make a sound. I shut my watery eyes.

"Saskia, I know you're here you lil' cow."
She blurts.

"I'm going to punch her when I lay eyes on her."
A girl whispers.

Chloe boots the last stall, I scream at the top of my lungs! Chloe drags me out by my hair and secures me in a headlock, covering my mouth so I can't scream anymore. I uncontrollably tremble. I can't move! Her friends are in hysterics and snap pictures. They all spit on my face and I receive multiple punches, kicks, slaps and threats. Tears escape from my eyes, my body aches head to toe.

"Let me go!"
A quick burst of energy frees me from Chloe.

I dart for the door, my arm expanded ready to grip onto the handle- but they jerk me back.

"Saskia, I'll stop hurting you if you do me a favour."
Chloe says, sternly, grabbing my collar.

I nod in agreement, frightened to death.

"You know that new guy- Harvey? I want you to expose him."
Chloe faces her friends and giggle.

"Why?"
I struggle to breathe.

Her beady eyes gaze back upon me.

"Because I hate his guts! He rather be gay than hang out with me..."
She snarls.

"What the hell? How do you know he's gay?

"He went to my old school and was never interested in me or any girl. I think it's damn obvious he's gay and I'm mad about it."

"You're mad about it..."
I sigh. Even though Harvey isn't my friend I still think it's wrong to say that...

Chloe continues to punch and yell at me, I don't want to expose Harvey but maybe I have to- I just can't deal with the bullying from her!
