Hyrule's Blessing

I'm back!! Thankfully, I recovered quicker than expected. While I was sick though, I mostly spent my time playing Breath of the Wild, and I discovered alot!! Anyway, here's the Sidlink one-shot that many of you have been waiting for. Oh, this song up here makes me so sad!!

"Mister Prince, I'm sooo hungry" The little Hylian girl next to him whined. "Um, I'm sure Link will be back soon to pick you up." Sidon scratched his neck nervously. Link had trusted him to take care of this girl while he attended one of Zelda's meetings in Hateno, even though Sidon couldn't take care of child to save his life.

"He only said he would be gone for 3 hours." Sidon thought to himself.

It was now 5 hours, and he hadn't gotten any message from Link explaining what the hold up was. Sidon sighed, and glanced over at the little girl. He noticed that she looked alot like Link, with her short, dirty blonde hair, and her cerulean eyes. They were both in Sidon's room, the girl was splashing around in his water pool, and Sidon was just watching her.

"Hey Irie." Irie perked up. "How old are you again?" Sidon blushed, clearly embarrassed to have forgotten her age for the second time.

"I'm six years old Mister Prince." Irie beamed at Sidon. Sidon laughed, and kneeled down at the edge of the pool. "I'm sorry, I won't forget again." Irie stopped splashing, and looked at him.

"It's okay!" Irie's finger reached for Sidon's face. Sidon watched, as her hand went closer and closer, until...

"BOOP!"

Irie giggled as she retracted her hand from Sidon's snout. Sidon's eyes were crossed, and he continued to stare at the part where her tiny finger had touched.

"Sorry." Irie held her head down. "No, don't be upset!" Sidon took Irie's hands from out of the water, and held them. " I could never be mad at you."

"So," Sidon jumped up, and gasped. He turned his head, and saw Link standing in the doorway. "I take it things went well here." Sidon smiled. "Of course Link, I loved spending time with her."

"DADDY!"

Irie jumped out of the pool and ran into Link's arms. "Hey princess." Link smiled as he wrapped his arms around the her, not realizing that he was getting soaked. "Daddy, guess what?" "What?" "I got to swim in Mister Prince's water pool!"

"Mister Prince?" Link snorted, trying hard not to laugh. Sidon's face became pink.

"So," Irie said, still in Link's arms. "Are you going to, what's it called again? Oh! Are you going to court Link?" Sidon became as red as his scales, and Link's entire head became maroon. "Wh-Where did you get this idea from?" Sidon stuttered. "I heard you talking to Mister King about Link. You said you loved him." Irie smirked.

"Uh, princess?" Link let go of Irie. "Could you let uh, Mister Prince and I talk for a second."

"Okay!" When Irie left the room, Sidon and Link just stared at each other for a very long time. Finally, Link went up to Sidon, and kissed his chest (He couldn't reach his cheek, or his lips). "I love you too." Link looked up at Sidon, and Sidon bent down, and pressed his lips against Link's.

"Oh, I forgot to ask," Sidon said pulling away.

"What is it?" Link asked, wishing the kiss would've lasted longer.

"How exactly did you get that little girl?" Sidon blushed immediately after, realizing what he had just asked.

Link laughed. "I got her as a gift from the Goddesses for saving Hyrule." "Well, I guess you could say she's a blessing." Sidon said. "No," Link took Sidon's hands.

"She's Hyrule's blessing."

Oh my gosh, I just fell in love with Irie! She's so freaking adorable!
