You and Zelda were sitting at a table in her room. The sun was high in the sky, and you could hear the slight breezes blowing by the window. Zelda looked like she wanted to tell you something, but she wouldn't say what, so you two were left to awkwardly glance around the room. After about 10 minutes, you couldn't take it anymore.

"Zelda." You said, looking at her sternly. "You called me here to tell me something, but you haven't said a word since I came in."

Zelda sighed. "Okay fine. the reason I called you here is to tell you that Link is moving to Labrynna."

Your jaw dropped, and you gawked at Zelda. "You're kidding, right?"

"I'm afraid not." Zelda said, placing her hand on her cheek. "The King of Labrynna asked if he could become their new military commander since Hyrule hasn't been in danger for about 4 years now."

"No way......." You said, tears forming in your eyes. You had to find Link. "Zelda, where is Link?"

"I believe he is in Castletown, saying goodbye to some of the villagers." Zelda said, getting up from her chair to look out of the window. "He is departing today you know."

"No, I don't know." You thought angrily. "Because no one thought to inform me, Link's best friend about this until the last minute."

You stormed out of the room, and walked through the maze of a castle, until you finally reached the bustling city of Castletown. You scanned the crowd of people, then you saw Link. You stormed over to him, grabbed his hand, and dragged him to one of the town's many alleyways.

"What the hell Link?" You asked, slapping him across the face.

"I could be asking you the same thing!" Link said, glaring at you, and rubbing his palm on his cheek.

"You're the one who didn't tell me that you were moving to freaking Labrynna!" You said, raising your voice. "Zelda, of all people had to tell me!"

"I didn't think you would care." Link said, frowning.

"What do you mean?" You asked. "I'm your best friend!"

"Well, I remember you clearly saying that you didn't care what I did with my life!"

                                                             *Flashback*

You and Link were leaning against a tree, staring at the majestic Hyrule Castle. The sky was a bit cloudy, so it wasn't too hot. In fact, in a way, it was a perfect day.

"(Y/N)?" Link asked suddenly.

You turned to look at him."Yes?"

"I think I wanna be a knight in the Hyrulean army."

"Go for it then!"

"Really? You wouldn't be mad if I went on life-risking quests to save Hyrule?"

"Well, I would be a bit scared for your well-being, but if you're happy, I'm happy."

"Thanks (Y/N), you're the most awesome best friend ever."

"Ha, Ha, thanks Link."

                                                           *End of Flashback*

"Well, I didn't think that you would leave for a whole different country with informing me first!" You said, crossing your arms.

"I'm sorry (Y/N), but I must do this."

"But Link," You screamed. "I LOVE YOU."

You lowered your head. Link just stood there, gaping at you for a minute or so. Your elfish ears drooped.

"I..........love you." You covered your face with your hands to hide the tears that were now flowing freely down your face. Link embraced you in a hug, so now you were crying on his chest.

"(Y/N), I love you too, and that's why I didn't want to tell you that I was leaving. I didn't want to see you so upset. I especially didn't want to see you cry. I thought that You didn't love me back, so I decided to keep my feelings to myself. I thought that if I left Hyrule, I wouldn't have to suffer if you married another man. That was the stupidest thing I've ever done though. I was so selfish and-"

You pressed your lips against Link's. His lips were soft, and kind of wet. Link kissed you back, and after a few seconds, you pulled away. You've known Link since you were small Hylians, but you never knew that Link had been harboring these feelings for so long.

"Link, none of that matters anymore. I love you so much, and I would never leave you." You gently place your hands on Link's cheeks.

"But (Y/N), I want to make it up to you." Link placed his hands on your waist. "I've decided that I want to stay in Hyrule with you."

You gasped. "Link! No way am I letting you do that. You have to go, an opportunity like this may never come by again."

"But an opportunity like this," Link pointed at you, then himself. "May never come by again."

You blushed. "Then how about I come with you?"

"Won't you be leaving all your friends?" Link asked.

"Link, I really don't have any friends." You said, embarrassed. "Zelda tried to be my friend, but I wasn't really that fond of her, making you my only one."

"Oh." Link said awkwardly. "Well then, I guess it's decided. You're coming to Labrynna with me! I'll tell the king that we'll have a slight delay, so let's go to your place and pack."

You nodded. Link grabbed your hand, and you both strolled along the streets to reach your house.

                                                   *10 Year Later Time Skip*

You and Link sat on the back porch of your house, and stared off into the vast green meadows. You two were a married couple, and had two children, Midna and Dark. Midna was playing in a small lake that was in front of you two, and Dark was playing with some toys.

"I have something to tell you (Y/N)." Link said.

"What is it?" You asked. "Are you going on another quest?"

"Nope." Link said grinning. "I have to tell you that I love you so much."

You blushed and hid your face on Link's shoulder. "I love you too Link."

This chapter took FOREVER to write, but I discovered a new way to get new chapters on here quicker. I'll just write my draft in a notebook, and take it to school, so I can write in my free time. I actually already did this, and it works well. Anyway, See ya next chapter!
