Chapter 17: thump, thump , thump

Sarah’s Pov

 

 

 

I can’t believe we are official now! Just awhile ago I thought she hated me for so long. I mean who would have thought after all these years, after all that she have been to me. All the teasing, the hatred, the way she had been mean to me was all because she likes me. And I can’t help but feel overwhelmed, happy and confused! My god she is the most difficult person I have ever met but every time she looks at me I feel butterflies in my stomach yet she makes me mad. Being with her is like in for a roller coaster ride. I just can’t believe what she just confessed the way she said it was so heartbreaking. I am really clueless about what she have been feeling all those years. Now I know everything, I wouldn’t let her push me again. It just makes me smile looking at her now. She seems so nervous; I didn’t know I have this effect on her.

 

“Why are you smiling?” she asked as she slightly glanced at me then facing the road again. She is driving me home now and we are almost halfway now to my home.

 

“Nothing…” I said as I smile coyly.

 

“Hmmm doesn’t seem nothing to me plus I know that smile. “She asked suspiciously drawing her eyebrows together. I can’t but help but smile back at her. She look cute when she is unsure.

 

“Just pay attention to the road. “ I said still smiling. Then she slowly pulled out the driveway and stops the car. “Why are we stopping?” I asked confusedly.

 

“Because I can’t pay attention while you are looking at me like that!” she exclaimed as she faced me looking slightly angry and then getting out of the car.

 

“Huh? Like what exactly?” I said as I get out of the car and faced her looking at her blankly trying not to laugh about her reaction.

 

“ohh come on don’t give me that look!” she said looking irritated.

 

“What look?” Still trying not to smile but my heart was racing fast and by looking at her I can tell something is about to happen.

 

“I shouldn’t have told you.” She said while looking at the ground and kicking the tiny stones.

 

“Why not?!” I asked angrily while looking at her. She is still looking at the ground kicking those stupid peebles or stones or whatever you called that. Why would she say that? Did she regret to say all those beautiful she things she thought about me?

 

"I embarrassed myself as it is." She sighs heavily then she slowly lean in the hood of her car while still looking down. “You must think that what I've said back at the pool house is weird...I mean after all the things that I've done to you after being a bitch to you... You must probably think that I'm a psycho and laughing at me right now." She said looking embarrassed and unsure of herself. She can't even look at me. It was really funny looking at her that way. Who would have thought the Ms. Sure of herself Alicia is having doubts of herself. I never could have imagined her looking so breathtakingly vulnerable at the moment and that is because after all these years she likes me! My heart was beating so fast as I approached her with a smile. She was still looking at the ground gently playing the pebbles with her shoes. It was really cute that she can't even look at me. Never in my wildest dream that Alicia Sinclair looks shy before my eye and it gives me the courage that I have never had before to move closer to her with a cynical smile. She was still leaning on the hood of her car while both her hands are on each side.

 

"Well... I never really thought about that but now that you've mentioned it... It makes sense." I said smiling at her seductively looking at her wide eyed. I slowly move in between her legs and gently leaning forward and putting both hands on each side encasing her.

"What you said was the sweetest thing I've heard in my life." I whispered “and I loved it." I continued as I claimed her lips and give her a chaste kiss. She just looks at me startled then a smile slowly crept on her face. "It may have taken time for me now to realize that I've always like you back then, that is why I could never really hated you. What you said awhile ago makes my heart beat so fast." I slowly lift her hand and slowly place it where my heart lies. I can feel her hand shaking as I look at her. "Thump, thump. Thump! That's how strong I feel for you every time you are near me and every single time I think of you, mind you which all the time." I said hoarsely and all of a sudden her lips crashes mine.  It was so sweet and my heart just beat faster. I slowly move hands on her neck as she moved her hands on my waist drawing me closer to her. Then she inch her hand up around the sides of my breast still kissing me. The taste of her tongue was so intoxicating. She smells so fresh like flowers on a spring. I couldn’t believe that we are kissing on the side of the road. Anyone could come out driving but still we didn’t mind. I didn’t mind I just couldn’t get enough of her. Everything was so slow pace which is great that we are taking time. 

“Hmmmm Sarah…?” She said slightly kissing me.

“Hmmmm…?” I asked her which sounded like a moaned and she just chuckle.

“We need to go…” she said while slowly breaking the kiss. I didn’t even notice that a car was coming. She slowly grabbed my hand slowly lead me to the car. I was moving slowly following her like my mind is on trance. I went inside and she slowly close the car door and went to the other side.

“Are you okay?” She asked smiling as she gently gives me a quick peck on the lips.

“Huh…?” I asked slightly confused and that is when I realize I was already inside the car. Her smile was wide and I blushed profusely. I didn’t want her to think that her kiss gives me the feeling that I am lost. Well it’s how I feel but I don’t want her to know it as she is as cocky as it is.

“Don’t worry your secret is safe with me.” She said as she smiles cockily. Shit! Why do I have to say out loud what I think? Then she gently grabs me by my neck and draws me towards her as she gives me a full kiss on the mouths that take my breath away. Then slowly release me and started the car. The car ride home was so quiet but was short.

“So here I am.” I said when we reach the doorway. 

“Yes here you are… Uhmm I’ll call you when I get home?” She asked shyly. This time I smile widely because I really like the way I made her feel. It gives me the confidence to look at her as she doesn’t know what to do next. I’m pretty sure she is nervous as the way she fidget a little and knowing Alicia she was never unsure on what she’s doing and now she is which give me the courage to have the control over the situation.

 

“Yes.” I said as I grabbed her shoulders and boldly push my body towards her and nipped her mouth and quickly get inside the house. I can picture her shocked face and I was right as I saw her on the peephole. Then I saw her smile widely and slowly move back to the car. I can’t help myself smiling as I slowly went upstairs to my room.
