Chapter 13: So Friends? What!?

Sarah’s POV

“Where you’ve guys been? Hmm are you on a date on the bush or something?” Everyone was now looking at us smiling. It was so embarrassing. My face turned red and I didn’t even notice that we were still holding ours hands. As soon as I realized it I immediately released her hand from mine.

“Look what we have here Sarah and Alice sitting on a tree K-I-S-S--- Ouch!” as Ali smacked his brother Jaime who is now smiling on us like a fool.

“Will you please stop it? You’re making Sarah uncomfortable” Ali hissed at his brother.

“Alright, alright, geez I was just messing around with you both because you look cute together.” Jaime said smiling. “Where were you guys anyway? Were you having a date on the woods?” Jaime was now looking at my big tote bag and now I just want to melt with embarrassment.

I immediately run off and take a detour. Didn’t heard Alicia was calling me from behind I just rushed off. I just don’t know why I did what I did. What was I thinkin, preparing a picnic for Alicia, kissing her on the broad daylight? Remembering all that happened, the kissed everything. It’s like we are a real couple. Are we a real couple now? Ohhh My gosh! We are aren’t we? What will I do? I mean I am new to this and not to mention with Alicia. This is not happening? This is impossible I can’t be with her for real. I mean this can’t be real right?

“Of course not, we are just pretending so don’t get yourself tied on knots. Don’t worry I don’t think all of it was real. “She said looking at me like I was not there. “ Ohhh by the way I can’t bring you home later be very busy with the ball and everything. So will you be okay going home by yourself?” She asked normally as if nothing happen. How can she do that like how can she feel like normal?

“I’ll bring her home “Jaime said, I didn’t even notice that he was there. He just looks at me with a sorry look on his face.

“Good! So I better go see you around” she said as she rushed off.

“Ali!” I shouted at her and she didn’t even look back. She just continues walking and headed to her next class which by the way I have with her.

“Just give her some space. You know how she is. Just give her time she’s just upset.”

“I know! Why would I have to talk out loud what I think?” as I looked at Jaime with a heavy sigh.

“Well it kind off your cutest quirks, you know.” He said to me smiling.

“Sure is not cute anymore” I said to him looking mad.

“Oh Come on, I’m sure Alicia will cool off sometime.” He said while hugging me.

“Everything will be fine, okay?” he said while cupping my face and hugging me. “Just tell Ali everything.”

“No need, it’s perfectly clear” She shows up all of a sudden and I immediately breakaway from Jaime’s hug. “Oh! No need to stop on my account, please do go on whatever the two of you are doing. I just forgot that I left my phone on your tote bag. Can I have it please?” as Alicia said as she smile sarcastically.

I just looked at her dumbfounded not able to move. Then she quickly grabbed her phone on my bag. “Here it is! See you around! “She said smiling and went off. It took time for me to realize what happen.

I quickly run off and follow her. I saw her that she was on the way to the classroom but I wasn’t able to get on time and quickly grabbed her hand and drag her to the janitor’s closet.
