Rumors Start Spreading

"Before I dated Austin, you know my boyfriend, I dated a girl."

"Oh my god, cool! That's seriously so cool, Camz."

"Really? Oh thanks. So anyway, many of my classmates hated me and thought I was disgusting."

"What the fuck? They're the disgusting ones~ Don't worry I won't be like them."

"Thankyou Lo."

"No problem! So are you bi?"

"Yeah, I guess?"

"Oh okay, cool."

Then we talked a bit more and went to sleep. I didn't feel the need to tell her I'm bi too, so I didn't. But it is really nice to know such a big secret from her.

And now since I know she and I might actually date, of course after she's single, I get even closer to her.

The next day as soon as I see her going in the direction of the bathroom I go over there and koala hug her. It isn't hard to do since she's so adorably tiny.

And then everyone around us just stares at us like we're naked. I act normal and put my arm over her neck and walk her to the bathroom with a,

"Hey Camz!"

She smiles, "Hey!"

Ahhh, I love our relationship right now, more than best friends but less than a couple. I continue our conversation,

"Grandpa Tea after school?" I ask.

"Ahh, sorry, Mondays I have to go early. Tomorrow and Thursdays I'm all yours" She smiles.

"Oh right, okay." I reply with a fake smile.

Goddamn boyfriend always in the way UGH!

"Frisbee during long break?"

"Definitely" she says without hesitation.

Now I'm smiling for real.

Grade 9 hasn't been stressful at all, so obviously not listening is class isn't a problem. When long break comes, I jump out the window with my frisbee and run to her window.

Her teacher hasn't dismiss her yet, so I'm just waiting outside. And when I hear people talking I see Camila skipping from the building corner to me. So. Cute.

"Haiiiii" She greets me, with her cutest smile ever.

"Hi" I say with as I throw the disc to her.

We play a while and when some other people join, we quit since our moment alone is gone. We decide to walk around the campus.

"We're fighting again." She says suddenly. I know she's talking about her and her boyfriend.

"What happened?" I ask.

"You might think this is ridiculous, but it's because I wanted a new profile picture for instagram, making it like a couple pic with him. You know what I mean?" She turns her head.

"Yeah totally, and then?" I know how she feels, I want couple pics with Camila, so we basically want the same thing in our perspectives.

"I took mine and I didn't like his, and when I told him to retake it, he was so mean and said no." Her voice becomes more vulnerable. "And I'm just really pissed."

"Aww Camila" I give her the walking kinda hug because we're walking. And people are staring again. "Don't worry, he will eventually do it."

Surprisingly she hugs me back, before when I tried to hug her, she never hugs me back because she says people might misunderstand.

Well I'm glad she talked to me. As we go back to our classes, and me entering mine, Dinah pulls me back out.

"Dude, okay I know you like her, but that was way too obvious."

"Really? Shit!" I kinda like it though. "Did you hear anybody say anything?"

"Yes, the guys, they saw you outside through the window and cheered like oooooh they're blah blah blah." She says.

"Ok thanks." I hide my smirk and enter my class with a poker face.
Then after school I see Camila walk pass my classroom to the exit. My teacher just has so much to say! I can't catch up on her, so I decide to find someone else to go to Grandpa Tea with me.

Shawn is right beside me so,

"Hey Shawn, wonna go drink Grandpa Tea?"

"Ha why, you got ditched for her boyfriend or something?" He asks.

"What the fuck? No, I don't know do you wonna go or not? Yes you have to pay for your own."

"Fine, wait a sec."

When we are all ready we leave together. And on the way, we obviously talk, and now the most interesting topic between us is Camila.

He says first, "So are you and Camila a thing now?"

I stare at the direction in front of me, blushing.

"What?! Of course not what is wrong with you?" I almost shout that.

"Well everyone is saying you guys are together, you know?" He looks at me. "Like everyone."

"Ugh whatever, do you chat with her often?" I ask.

"Yeah, like everyday, why?" Pff stupid acting so innocent.

"Just curious. Does she ever talk about me?"

"Yeah, she says she loves playing frisbee with you and thinking about it makes her day."

HOLY FREAKIN SHIT. SHE SAID THAT! I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY, SO GLAD I INVITED HIM.

"Really? Did she just randomly pop that out?"

"Yeah, we were talking about how our days went."

My heart just melted. And without realizing it, I am showing it through jumping and screaming. He looks at me like I'm crazy.

"Geez, Lauren chill." He says with a chuckle.

"Oh sorry" And as we walk into the tea shop I continue our conversation, "hey, answer this honestly, do you like her? Cause you two seem so close lately."

"Uh Lauren! No, I have a crush you know? And it's not her."

Good! Wait he has a crush?! "Who then?" I ask.

"I'm not telling you. Haha" he says then orders his drink.

"Is she in our class?" I ask as I order my drink.

"Yes, and I'm not answering any more questions."

"Why aren't you telling me? We're such good friends!" I whisper shout.

"Ugh, you're so annoying! Can't I have secrets?" He says.

Pfff, gosh he's so obnoxious sometimes. I don't want to hang anymore so right after I get my drink,

"K, I'm gonna go now, see you tomorrow!" I wave.

"Bye." He watches me leave.

On my way back home, on the bus, I text Camila, since I'm bored and I have news.

Me: Hey, Camz! Shawn has a crush!

Me: And he won't tell me 😒

Camila: No way! Lemme try him too.

Wtf? Like he would tell her and not me? Ok I am kind of so sick of us three's relationship. Then after about 10 minutes, I text her back.

Me: Aaaaaaand?

Camila: He's not telling me either 😂

Thats sounds better, I would've been so pissed?!

Me: :( thanks for trying tho

Camila: no prob lo :)

Then I get home and do homework blah blah blah.
