Jealousy Gets You

Finally I get to give my heart a break with Camila. As soon as I see Dinah standing there beside a post looking at her phone waiting for me, I start running to her. Then I scare her with a BOO! From behind her back, hahaha, well she is at least startled.

It's good to finally have this fun again. With my siblings, it's never like this. 

She hates being the one 'being bullied', so she shouts at me

"Bitch, what is wrong with you?"

"Geez, it's been a long time."

"Hahaha, I know I was just kidding, bitch, I've missed you so much, get in here"

"Me too, ugh"

Then she squeezes me, almost to death.

"Okay, that's enough, let's move our asses" she then says.

She grabs my hand and drags me to the cinema, pays for both our movie tickets, buys me a whole portion of popcorn, and never even lets go. Boy have I missed her, her straightforward, generous self.

Then we sit all the way at the back row, 

"Girl, I can't see that well!"

She huffs then drags me to the middle and we sit down. There are more people here, both behind and in front of us. While the stupid commercial is running, I decide to pee first. 

I tell Dinah and she tells me to make it quick. So I run down to the exit like a freak and out to the bathroom. 

When I enter the ladies' room, I hear two girls laughing, and one of them sounds really, really familiar. I take a peek in the bathroom and see a stranger with another girl looking at a phone. 

There is no way that can be Camila, she isn't that tall.

I walk in a stall without any eye contact, then before I start peeing, they leave after one of them says their movie is about to start.

I hurry it up with myself and sprinted back to my cinema, and the logo of the movie is showing on the screen. Oh my god, literally perfect timing. 

Dinah throws the popcorn at me as soon as I sit down. Oh there are two more heads on the right side in front of us now, they are two girls laughing, I assume they're the girls from the bathroom.

The movie is so dope, the only thing that annoys me once in a while are the two girls in front of us. UGH! I mean shut up already! I think Dinah hears me, because she taps one of the girls' shoulders and she turns around.

HOLY FREAKIN GOD. It is Camila, I guess it is her laugh after all.

Dinah recognizes her too, "Camila?"

"Dinah!" she says once she also recognizes her, "hey!"

They were both whisper shouting, but the people beside them can still hear them, so the girl beside Camila also turns her head, "What is going o-".

Camila notices me too, smiles, "Hey Lauren" she doesn't wait for my reply, turns her head and answers the other girl's question,"these are my friends from school!" Boy have I missed her smile.

"Oh! Hi, I'm Ariana, I will be going to your school next semester too." Ariana says. 

So she is Ariana. Shit, she's pretty.

"Hi, I'm Dinah and this is my friend, Lauren." Dinah introduces us. I wave.

"Let's all finish the movie first." I say, after people around us start staring.

In between the movie, the girls leave, come back and laugh. Gosh it is getting on my fucking nerves. When a funny part comes, we all laugh, but all I hear is those two, what is wrong with me? 

When the movie is finally over, Camila turns her head excitedly and stares at Dinah and I one by one, hoping we'll make a plan to meet and talk or something. 

Dinah asks, "Wonna hang at Starbucks?"

Ariana replies, "No, Starbucks is too classic, I drink it like everyday, let's try something new."

We all lean in, planning our hang. Dinah takes out her phone and checks the map.

"How about the closest to us, Grandpa Tea?"

As soon as I hear that, I think of all the moments and memories I have had with Camila there. No, why there, why the place that got us together. As I dramatically worry about the memory trigger, Camila seems to be completely fine with it.

"That sounds awesome, let's go!" She says.

I blink twice as they all get off their butts, start exiting the theater. I'm turning hesitant as I follow them, not really in the mood anymore. 

The fact that Camila is having fun with another girl and me still heart aching is really bothering me. I go through Ariana's Instagram to get a heads up of what kind of person she might be. She seems normal, hot and extremely popular. 

"Lauren! Keep up!" says Dinah, making me realize I'm about 10 meters away from them. 

I quickly run to them, "Sorry, got a call from mom."

Camila seems to be interested, "Everything ok tough?"

I fake small smile to her, "yeah, let's go, where is it?" Just go already.
