I felt the cool blast of A/C as I walked in to the coffee shop. I came in to the same shop everyday ordering the same thing from the same person, but when I came in today something seemed different. As I walked in I saw a new, and handsome if I might add, new guy working the cash register. He had tattoos that covered his arm and bright yellow hair. And his eyes, they were a beautiful dark brown that reminded me of dark chocolate that made me just want to melt.
"Where's Brendon?" I asked to new guy who's name tag read 'Josh'.
"He got a new job, something about getting a part in a show. I don't know but I'm here now," Josh said in a uninterested tone," what can I get for you?"
"Umm. I guess I'll have a large mango iced tea." I said. I don't remember Brendon saying anything about an audition. It upset me that he didn't tell me, that I had to learn the news from a complete stranger.
"We"re out of that." Josh sighed annoyed for whatever reason it was.
"Ok then," I said with a bit more confidence,"I'll have a large salted caramel iced coffee."
"We're out of that too." Josh said plainly.
I tried to put on a smile to hide my irritation towards Josh. I hated how all the hot guys were always so rude. "Fine then, what do you have?" I asked Josh forcefully.
"Well, we have black coffee with cream and sugar over there," I turned to see that Josh was pointing to a messy counter with empty sugar packets spread over the stand. "Or we have bottled drinks if you want" Josh suggested.
I debated whether getting a bottled drink, a black coffee, or going to Starbucks. I decided to just go with the coffee.
"Can I have your name?" The man looked at me waiting for my answer. "Tyler," I said in a shy voice," my name is Tyler."
