Chapter 7: Enemies?

Flix's POV

"So boring here." I said and sighed.

"Then why don’t you called your guards?" I'm shocked when someone spoke. It’s Mom.

"You know Mom they have there own life din and we need alone time din." I said.

"Oh. By the way do you often with April?" I immediately face her when she said that.

"Uhm no. Is there something with her?"  I asked.

"Maybe. She's not active on their training these past few weeks, that's what I notice by the report of Shiro." When I heard that I remember the last I talk to her..

"Hmm, okay Mom I will talk to her when I saw her." I'm so worried with her.

"Thanks Flix, I love you." Then she kiss me in my cheeks. And she left I think she will go to rest.

Napaisip naman ako. Tama nga hindi ko pa siya nakakausap mula non. I don't know how to face her.

I'm here at my room sa my Header's Building. Nakahiga lang ako dito sa kama ko. Nagiisip. Kung nandito lang sana si Nanay Rose. Speaking of. Oo nga no? Kamusta na kaya siya? Okay lang kaya siya?  Alam niya kaya na may powers ako?

"Mukhang maraming gumugulo sa isip mo ah."

Nagulat ako sa biglang nagsalita at tumingin ako sa may pintuan and I found out na nandun na pala nakatayo si Arwin.

"Haha your so cute." Biglang sabi niya.

"Hindi 'no." Sabi ko.

"I'm serious. Cute na nga ganda mo pa." Sabi niya na hindi ko masyadong naintindihan yung huli ang hina kasi eh.

"Ha, fine you’re serious if you are." I said and laugh.

"Tsk." Ismid niya,  nabadtrip.

"Just joking, fine. Siguro ito ang gusto mo marinig gwapo mo na rin para fair." I said in mocking tone. Umalis naman siya. Nainis ata.

Tumayo ako sa kama at nagbihis. Then pumunta ako sa Dorm ng mga guards. I want to talk to April. Pagkarating ko sa room niya sakto na lumabas siya.

"April." I called her. Lumingon naman siya. But her expression is cold. Hindi siya nagsalita. And lalakad na sana siya pero nagsalita ulit ako. "Tell me what is your problem, please." And I walk towards her and held her wrist.

She removed my hands and walk away but I followed her. "April wait!" I shout. But she ignored me. I was about to hold her hand but someone grabbed my hand. "Stop it Flix," Jairo said. I was about to say something but he immediately continue what he is saying, "Don't object Lady Flix. I will talk to her." Then he bow to me and pull me to the park.

"Why did you do that?" I said.

"That is for your own good. We can solve it." He said.

"Solve what?" I'm confused.

"Nothing." And he avoid my gaze.

"What is it?!" I shout out of frustration.

"Why do you want to know?!" He shouted.

"Because I care!"

"That's!----" he cut because someone spoke.

"Enough." Arwin said.

"But---"

"No but's, spill it."

"But---"

"I said no but's."

Jairo sighed. "Fine. April is in trouble."

I'm shocked. "What? Why?" I said.

"Because she contact with the one of our enemies or should I say that she is being blockmail with that guy, Right Jairo?" Arwin explained. What? She contact with enemies? But who are the enemies?

"What?  And wait enemies?" I asked.

"Yes, Enemies. We have an enemies. The one who can use shadow."

"Shad----" I was cut because Arwin cover my mouth and we hide to a block.

"Jairo." Arwin called but a minimal sound.

"Got it."

I removed Arwin's hand to my mouth and asked, "What happening?"

"Shh. They are here." He said, and I mouth 'who'. "Shadows."

I'm shocked because of what I've heard oh my god.

I was about to sneak but Arwin flinched.

"They found us." Jairo said.

"How many? And what they are?" Arwin said.

"Three. Guards."

" We have to get out of here. And we have to report it immediately to the Head." And with that silently escape and they company me to my room.

"Don't get out of your room, okay?" Arwin said and I just nod. And they leave me.

I'm bothered. I'm so bothered. I think there's something happening between those shadow. And what bothers me the most is April. She have a contact with one of the shadows. But why? But Shadows? Who the hell is the shadows? Is there something with them?.. I just know that they are enemies but why?

I wake up because of the light coming from the window. When I open my eyes, I saw Mom sitting in my side.

"How are you?" She asked me with her serious face.

"I'm fine." I said. She stare at me with a so seriously face.

"You know I'm the head here so I will know what happening here."

I shut my mouth I know that. But there's a lot of questions so I can't focus.

But what bothers me more is April. She is being blockmail by the Shadows.

"What happen?" She asked, I can't answer her because even if me I don't know.

"I don't know either Mom." I said confusely.

"Oh. I'm sorry." She said. Then she sighed.

"I don't know what---"

"I'm sorry I'm not there to protect you I'm sorry that I can't even say anything about this." She said.

"It's okay Mom." I said. Then I smiled at her as assurance. She smiled that time.

"They are Shadows, they are our enemy. I wanted, that you will get out of this but I think they found out that you're here." Then she hold my shoulders. "And they want to get you.. I think to blockmail me."

"Oh." I'm shocked because of what she said but why?

"But don't worry I and our comrades will protect you no matter what happens." She said.

"Thank you." I said and I hugged her tight. And she hugged me back. "I'm sorry." And I cried. "Sorry if I'm a hindrance. I'm sorry if---"

"Shh. It's not you fault. I'm the one that being sorry because I can't protect you because I'm busy I'm sorry." And then she caress my back.

"It's okay Mom I understand. And as long as your here." And I hugged her tighter.
