Chapter 23 : Misinterpret

Arwin's POV

Padabog akong pumasok sa kwarto ko at humiga. Naiinis ako sa lalaking yun. Sino naman siya at lumalapit siya kay Anna?

May asungot lang naman na sumulpot kanina nung magkasama kami ni Anna. Tapos kilala niya pa ata Tawa pa siya ng tawa. Okay lang sana kung ako yung nagpapatawa sa kanya pero hindi, tapos yung sinabi ni Jairo.

"Sino yun? Mukhang may kalaban ka rin kay Flix ah."

Magpapahinga na sana ako nang may kumatok. Pumunta ako at binuksan yung pinto, nung binuksan ko nakita ko si Mik. 

"Anong kailangan mo?"

"Uhh, tungkol kay Flix. May sasabihin ako."

"Huwag mo na ituloy." Walang gana kong sabi.

"Hindi yun, yung lalaki---"

“Magpapahinga na ko.” Putol ko sa kanya.

"Basta pinsan yun ni Flix." Sabi niya sabay talikod at naglakad palayo.

Ah pinsan.. Pinsan?!

"Jairo!" Sigaw ko, hindi pa siya nakakalayo pero narinig ko ang tawa niya tapos nagpatuloy sa paglakad.

Nandito ako ngayon sa harap ng kwarto ni Anna. Ilang minuto na rin ako dito.

Narinig ko naman yung pagsalita sa likod ko. It was her voice. Ilang years ko rin siya inoobserbahan. Pagkalingon ko kasama niya si JA? No, JD? No, Ah JP. Her cousin. She seem shocked when she saw me.

"Arwin." She said.

"Anna let's talk.. Please." I said.

"Okay." She said.

"Sige p're, ikaw na bahala sa pinsan ko." He even imphasize the word pinsan.

I nodded. "Oo naman."

Ngumiti naman siya. "You’re not mad?" I asked.

She shook her head. "No, and I was the one who was asking that."

"I'm sorry." I said.

She chuckled. "And also I'm the one who is saying sorry. I'm sorry, I don't consider what you feel and I forgot to say that he is my cousin."

"It's okay." I said. "Sorry if I was jealous by your cousin."

"Hmm. Cute mo. Kaso maarte ka." Sabi niya saka ako niyakap. Niyakap ko siya. “Bitaw na.” pero hindi ko siya binitawan.

"Let's stay like this for a while. Please." I said and rest my chin to her shoulder.

"Tsansing." She whispered but she let me hug her. I smiled.

After some time bumitaw na ko sa kanya. Tinignan ko siya. Napangiti ako.

"What are you smiling at?" She said but I just smiled at her widely.

"I'm just happy because you’re here with me." She smiled.

"Hmm, sige na nga.” And she was about to enter her room.

"Hey, I am serious here. And why are you entering your room? I'm still talking to you." I frowned.

She laugh. "Nah. I'm tired."

I shook my head but smiled. Now, it is clear. Even if I misinterpreted it. I manage to fix it and I’m glad.

My alarm is ringing. Got to wake up I have a classes for today. I immediately go to the bathroom.After that I just wore a casual clothes. And I immediately go to kitchen to cook for my breakfast. Yes, I know how to cook, My mother teach me how to cook. For me to cook when she is away. After I ate and prepare myself. I immediately go outside my dorm and just exactly Jairo just came outside his room. Our room is just next to each other. I locked my dorm and look at him.

"Morning Keith, tara?" I nodded and we walked to April's room. He is just silent when he suddenly speak. "How was her?"

"You know what, you better don't avoid her, she is being close to Jake." I said.

"But--" I cut his off.

"You will lost her also when you just avoid her. It's better to do something and what happened to your I won't let her get by someone." I asked and shook my head.

"Pero kasi si Jake yung lagi niyang kasama, kapag kasama ko siya bigla na susulpot yung Jake na yan."

I saw a familiar face. We are close to them. Nasa tapat sila ng pinto ni April. Jake and April.

"Speaking of." I said and he look at the direction where I was looking.

He continued walking so I did the same. I am just beside him. Mahirap na baka biglang sumugod.

"Are you crazy?" April ask to Jake. She didn't notice us.

"It is true! I like you!" Jake shout frustrated. I head Mik's grunt.

"What----guys." April said.

I just nodded to her. But Mik has no reaction.

"Hey April, sagutin mo ko please." Jake said and was about to lean to April when a punch hit his face. And it is from Mik.  I immediately grab his wrist.

"Hey, keep calm." I said.

"Sino ka para suntukin ako?!" Jake said.

"Jairo Mik Alvarez." He calmly said.

"What the?!" Sigaw ni Jake and was about to punch Mik when a water droplet hit him.

"Stop it!" April shout. "Jairo let's talk, please." And held Mik. I immediately removed my grip to him. "Arwin, ikaw na bahala kay Flix. Sunod na lang kami sa room."

I just nodded and walk through the Header's Building. Sana maging okay lang sila.
