A/N-I haven't updated in like forever, so I'll make this chapter long.

Zanya snickered as Lance spit out his drink, the pink liquid flying everywhere. Hunk gave the blue paladin a disgusted look, while Keith watched with an amused smile on his face.
"What is this?" Lance exclaimed, holding his now empty cup out, and giving it a look like it had insulted him, "it tastes disgusting!"
"It's not that bad," Keith shrugged, taking another sip from his glass, "I actually kind of like it." Lance turned to Keith with a horrified look on his face, then quickly hid behind Hunk, who acted as a barrier between the two. Zanya chuckled at their antics, then shifted his gaze to Shiro, who was standing a little ways away, watching the night sky through the wide open door.
The castle had been left with its defenses down and its doors wide open to let the small natives, or Arusians, enter and exit as they pleased. Allura had thought that it would be an amazing idea to throw a party, celebrating Voltron's victory, and the new friendship between Team Voltron and the Arusians. It did seem like a nice idea to Zanya, but it also seemed a little dangerous. Enemies could easily attack them without defenses, and the open door was practically screaming for someone to waltz in and cause chaos.
The Altean soon realized that Shiro had similar thoughts, seeing as how he would not take his eyes off the door. The black paladin looked terribly worried, and Zanya started to make his way over, but encountered the problem of running into Pidge.
Pidge and Zanya had never really had a one-on-one conversation before. They were simply acquaintances and teammates, nothing more. Pidge didn't seem to want to change that, seeing as how he only muttered out an apology, and quickly began walking through the crowd of Arusians.
"Pidge, wait!"
"Uh, yeah?" Pidge turned, waiting for answer.
"Well," Zanya rubbed the back of his neck. Now that he had Pidge's attention, he ha don idea what to say. He didn't get a chance though.
"Pidge, let's talk," Allura jumped out of nowhere, ruining Zanya's attempt at friendship, "we have SO much in common!"

Lance let out a loud sigh as he walked through the winding halls of the castle. He stopped in front of the large door that lead to the main control room, and watched as it automatically opened, inviting him inside. He accepted the invitation, stepping slowly into the large room.
Lance sat on the ground, staring up at the large map before him. The map showed all of the stars and planets nearby their current location. The paladin looked, but didn't see Earth amongst the many dots scattered in unidentifiable patterns.
"May I join you?" the unmistakable voice of Coran spoke behind him. Lance nodded, watching as Coran came into his line of view. The Altean gazed up at the map without a readable expression on his face, and Lance asked a question.
"How far away is Earth?"
"Quite far," Coran immediately answered, reaching up to swipe at the map. The planets shifted right, revealing more planets and stars Lance didn't recognize. He felt his stomach twist painfully as he watched Coran continue to swipe, showing even more unknown space.
Lance was homesick, and Coran watched him sit slowly on the floor, not daring to look back up at the map. Coran stopped, and sat with him, nobody wanting to break the silence.
"I miss Earth."

A loud explosion shook the building, and Zanya jumped from his position of leaning against the outside wall of the castle. He grabbed the handle of his sword, scanning the land for and enemies. All he saw were Arusians running frantically toward their village, their eyes wide with surprise and fear. He turned toward the entrance of the castle, hoping nobody was hurt.
Shiro, Allura, Pidge, Keith and Hunk were all running up the staircase, which is all Zanya saw before the lights flickered off, and the castle's power shut off completely. The Altean drew his sword, placing himself in the middle of the doorway. He would guard the entrance until the rest of the team returned.

Shiro made his way toward the entrance of the castle, carrying Lance's limp body along with him. The ships energy supply had been destroyed, and the blast had injured Lance. Hunk and Coran had gone to retrieve another crystal, and Allura and Keith had gone the help the Arusians. Zanya was nowhere to be found.
He heard yells coming from the entrance. He knew that voice. Shiro quickly set Lance down and sprinted toward the open doors of the castle. He was met with Sendak and Zanya fighting for their lives.
The Prince jumped out of the way as Sendak's arm was shot at him, then flipped onto the Galra's back, stabbing at him with his sword. Sendak hissed, grabbed Zanya, and flung him into the hall of the castle, where he didn't move.
Anger bubbled up inside of Shiro, and he quickly activated his cybernetic arm. He spared one last glance at Zanya, who hadn't moved, fueling his anger more. The Prince could be dead for all he knew, and Sendak had to pay.
"Ahhhh!!" Shiro charged, his clenched fist meeting Sendak's, causing a loud BOOM to echo. Sendak was smirking, and Shiro was sent back into the castle, pushed by the commander's own cybernetic arm, which was larger, and apparently detachable.
Shiro flipped Sendak as he pounced on Shiro, sending the Galra into the castle's ballroom. Shiro charged, not holding back as he leaped at Sendak. The voice of another Galra stopped him.
"Surrender. We have your friends." Shiro turned, and to his dismay, Lance and Zanya were in the Galra's clutches. He growled as the other Galra carelessly threw Zanya to the ground. Before he could personally strangle that stupid Galran officer, he was hit on the back of the head, and everything went black.
Those Galra would definitely pay for what they did to Zanya.

A/N-I personally think this chapter is bad. It seemed kinda boring when I read it, but I wasn't sure what else to write. Sorry if you don't enjoy it, I'll try to make the next chapter better!
