Chapter 4
Josh and I enter the party a little late but no matter, we showed up; be happy.
    "Hero! There you are! You were supposed to be here at 9 o'clock sharp." Anne exclaims. I roll my eyes.
    "Anne we're five minutes late." I point out. Her eyes narrow.
    "It's almost 10." She states bluntly. I look at the clock.
    "Huh. It is so." I turn back to her. "Oops?" I smile innocently. She rolls her eyes, shaking her head.
    "What took you guys so long anyways?" she asks.
    "Anne, we haven't seen each other in 13 years we just had to catch up on what happened." I shrug.
    "And you couldn't have done that over the 2 years he's been with us?!" She exclaims. I look at her.
    "He's been with Ryder the whole time basically." I point out. She nods mumbling under her breath. I chuckle.
    "The party looks amazing, Anne." I say looking at all the dark decorations and studying the disco ball hanging from the ceiling.
    "Hero, it looks like you haven't seen a disco ball before." She laughs. I look away. "Oh." She says.
    "Look Anne, I have to go talk to Tyler about something. I'll talk to you later."
    "Oh. Okay, bye." She says as I walk away. I find Tyler with the guys at the bar.
"Tyler." I state, stopping in front of the group. He turns to look at me.
"Hey sis!" He says, throwing an arm around my shoulders. "What's up?" He asks, obviously drunk.
"Well you wanted to talk earlier," I say through clenched teeth. "Remember?" I give a tight smile. His eyes widen and he seems to get somewhat sober. He nods.
"I'll catch up with you guys later." He says to the group of guys watching the conversation. They all nod in sync. Tyler moves us into an empty room down the hall from the party.
"Okay so earlier today I was snooping into the Undertakers case files and may have found the reason as to why they killed your family." I urge him to continue. "So apparently your parents were apart of the Undertakers gang before they started their own. They recruited the best of the best to start their gang and went under the radar when they had your brother. After they had you they started to get more and more people wondering where they disappeared to so targets were on them like crazy now. More people started to realize that they disappeared with reason and they tried to find out why.
"Unfortunately, the Undertakers found out that they had two kids and that when they were going out with Magnus that night, they were meeting with someone for a trade and decided that then would be the perfect time to extinguish the family. However, they did not realize that they were one short on the family count." I swipe my cheek to rid myself of any unexpected tears.
"Tyler, this is awesome that you got more information, but, I just can't handle it right now." I say. He nods sadly.
"Well, I also found out some good news." He states. I urge him on. "I found out the parents names however it doesn't really say the last name or the children's. The dad went by Greg and his wife, Betty." I take a mental note and run down to my office.
