Chapter 3

Four POV

"I just moved into my house because my old house was breaking down" I says. Chris then opens the door.

"Dang took you long enough" She says. I kind of wish that she didn't open the door. I only met Tris today and I already think I like her. Tris smiles and walks in and I follow. When we get to the back yard Tris takes of her Flannel and her shorts. All I can do is stare, she's so fit and has such a beautiful body. I mean yea I saw it earlier but she's showing way more now than she was then. She sits down near the pool, Chris tapped my shoulder, I looked over. "you like her don't you?" she asks. When we suddenly hear Tris scream, Chris and I turn around to see Uriah and Zeke on the floor cracking up. Tris comes to the surface coughing and getting out. I turn to Chris and slightly nod. Chris laughs a little. When suddenly we hear what sounded like two teenagers screaming because they got to see Justin Bieber. I quickly turn around expecting to see Tris in the water but instead I see Shauna , Marlene, Lynn and Tris laughing. I gave them a confused look and Tris points to the water. I look around and don't see Uriah and Zeke. I laugh a little, then Zeke and Uriah come to the surface, and give Tris a death stare, she's laughing so hard she doesn't realize they came up. Zeke and Uriah get out and Zeke touches his hair. "MY HAIR!!!" he yells. Tris stops laughing to take a breath then starts laughing again. Her laugh is so cute.

//A couple of hours later//

Will got here an hour ago, us boys have been talking about relationships. "You like her, don't you?" asks Will. I look over at him and slightly nod. They all smile. "oh god guys don't get any ideas" I say.

"On three, each one of you grabs one of the girls and jump in the pool with them, I'll get Marlene, Zeke you get Shauna, Will you get Chris and Four you choose between Lynn and Tris" Says Uriah

I laugh " I choose to live so ill get Tris" we all laugh.

"ready?" asks Uriah, We all nod "One....Two.....THREE!" I grab Tris and jump in with her. We're under water for about 1 min before we go to the surface. Tris and I laugh and stay in the pool for a couple of minutes when she gets a call.

Tris POV

I'm talking to the girls when I'm randomly tackled into the pool. I'm underwater for about 1 min before I swim to the surface. All I can do is laugh. I realize that my Attacker was Four, We laugh for a little and stay in the pool of a little bit until I get a call. I get out and answer my phone. "Hello?" I say.

"Hey sweetie just called you to let you know that you have to be home in 45 minutes" says my mom

"Ok ill see you soon" I say and hang up. I turn around to see Four getting out of the pool. His Swim trunks dripping with water his body covered in water droplets and his hair damp and to the side. All I do is stare. Chris waves her hand in my face, "Hey close your mouth your gonna catch a fly" she says. I can feel my cheeks get hot and red of embarrassment. Four smiles at me and I smile back. I start walking towards him to let him know I'm leaving in 45 minutes, when I suddenly slip. I expect to hit the ground but instead I'm getting held by Four. "oooo" says everyone. I immediately blush and look down, then I realize Four is blushing too.

"You ok?" he asks

I nod, "yea, thank you"

"No problem, But you sure your ok because your bleeding"

I look at my leg and see blood dripping off of my feet. "OMFG I'm bleeding! omg um put me down" I say and try to squirm out of his arms.

"Yea no, that looks serious, Hold on" He says. By then everyone is huddled around examining my leg. He sits me down, and puts my leg on his. I drop my foot down and get up. "Tris sit down" He exclaims. I shake my head and start speed walking to my car, but I don't make it. I feel my body go limb and hit the hot, hard concrete.

Four POV

I run after Tris but by the time I catch up she's on the sidewalk passed out. I pick her up and lay her down on the couch, propping her leg up on mine. "Chris bring me a wet rag" I say. She quickly runs to the kitchen to grab a rag the wet with cold water and hands it to me. I grab it and start slightly dabbing her wound. I finally clean all the blood off her leg. "um guys go get Tris's stuff imma have to take her to the hospital the wound to big for me to cure." She has a piece of glass stamped into her lower leg, its pretty deep and it looks like it might of damaged the bone a little. I wrap the rag around her wound and pick her up Bridal Style and take her to her car. "Uriah open the back door, then get in all the way to to other end and help me lay her down" I demand. Uriah quickly opens the door and scoots over I bend over and slowly hand her shoulder area to Uriah then slowly lay the rest of her body down* I close the door. "Chris where are her keys?!" I ask. She runs out with her keys.

"Ill take my car and take everyone else" Says Zeke. I nod and get into Tris's car. I look back and see Tris's limb body, I look at her leg and see the blood coming through. I turn on the car and head to the Dauntless Hospital. When we get there I open the door that's by Uriah and grab Tris's upper body and grab her lower body then adjust it so I'm holding her Bridal Style. Uriah gets out and closes the door. We walk in and got to the front desk, they immediately put her down in a bed and rush her to the back leaving Uriah and I behind. We sit down and wait. About 30 minutes later Chris, Will, Zeke, Shauna, Marlene and Lynn walk in. Chris walks in nervous, she's fiddling with her hands and cant stay still. Will finally sits her down and calms her down. A doctor comes out " May I speak to Miss, Prior's Family or Friends." says the doctor. We all get up and walk towards him.

"That's us sir" I say

"Hello I'm the Doctor that attended Tris, Tris was just released from surgery, we surgically had to remove the piece of glass, The glass unfortunately did shift the bone. Which means she'll be in a cast for 6 weeks if healed properly"

"Ok may we see her?" I ask

He nods "Of course, If you want I can escort you to her room" he says

"That would be wonderful" Says Zeke. The doctor escorts us back to Tris's room. When we walk in Tris is still Unconscious. Chris frowns and Will hugs her. We all pull up chairs and sit around. Slowly, everyone leaves, leaving me alone with Tris. At around midnight I get a call. I pull my phone out of my pocket and answer it. "Hello" I say

"Hey sweetie, I was calling to make sure your ok, Are you staying the night at Zeke and Uriah's? "Asks my mom

"No mom my friend got injured, so we brought her to the hospital, and I don't know her phone passcode, so I have to wait for her to wake up so she can contact her parents" I say

"Ok sweetie I have to go before your.." I here my dad yell and my mom scream in pain. I hang up and look at the floor. He's gonna end up killing her. I through my phone at the ground in anger. First me now my mother!!! I look around for something to distract me. I can t seem to find anything. So I scoot my chair next to Tris. I grab her cold, small, soft hands, and lay my head down on the edge of the bed. "Tris. I know we just meet earlier yesterday, but having almost all my classes with you and getting to know you bit has been so cool, and I think I like you... I guess ill figure it out as we live right?" I slowly drift of into a deep sleep.
