The Nerd and The Bad Boy

    The final bell finally rang as both Shadow and Silver stood up and began to walk up the bleachers and sit down. The rest of the students stood came after them and sat down with their friends and chatted for a bit. Suddenly, Shadow felt someone slap the back of his head and his holding his head in pain. Silver gasped and looked at the person who slapped Shadow angrily, seeing none other than Sonic Maurice Hedgehog. Shadow turned slowly and looked up at Sonic who smirked down at him. "Hey, nerd! Can't wait for the activity for today! I hope it volleyball so I cant hit you in the face with the ball!" Sonic said as he laughed. Shadow coward in fear and turned around, closing his eyes tightly and grip his shirt in his hands tightly.  Silver looked at Shadow quickly and grabbed his hand and held it. "Shadow don't listen to him... He's just trying to make you fear him! Just remember you are strong and no one can tell you otherwise.

    Shadow looked at Silver and shook his head quickly. "I'm not strong! I'm a coward! I can't even stand up for myself!" Shadow cried as tears formed. Silver hugged Shadow close and pat his back gently. "Shadow please don't cry... You are strong...You're not a coward... I will protect you no matter what because I'm your friend! I promise..." Silver replied. Shadow's eyes widened at what Silver said, but closed as he smiled and hugged Silver back. 

"Thank you, Silver..."

    Sonic watched them silently, smirking more. "Oh we'll see..." he whispered. Soon after, the gym teacher walked out of his office and stood in front of the students, eyeing each and every one of them. "Alright students! My name is Sensei Wong and today we are playing volleyball and basketball! I need everyone to split into two groups!" Sensei Wong yelled loudly for everyone to hear. Since the class was even of 24 students 12 was split into both sides. Shadow and Silver went to the basketball side because they didn't want to get hit with the volleyball as what Sonic said beforehand. Sensei Wong blew the whistle which got everyone's attention. "Alright students, I want all of you to play safe and try not to get hurt ok! Now go play!" he said as he gave one student a volleyball and another student a basketball.

    Shadow and Silver split into a team of six and began to play basketball with the other students. Sonic looked at Shadow and smirked, waiting for an opening to release his plan. After about 10 minutes of playing Sonic finally found an opening and hit the ball really hard, causing it to fly towards Shadow at a really fast speed. Shadow was holding the basketball until he felt a ball hit him straight in the face. He dropped the ball and flew back to the ground, holding his face. "Shadow!" Silver said as he ran to Shadow and kneeled down next to him. Every single student turned and gasped in horror, seeing Shadow o the ground. Some other students laughed along with Sonic. Sensei Wong saw the incident and ran to Shadow and kneeled down next to him as well. Shadow held his bloody nose as tears fell down his face.

"What happened?! Who threw the ball at this student's face?!" the teacher said as he looked back at the class. All of them pointed at Sonic who smiled carelessly. "Mr. Maurice! How could you do this to students?!" the teacher yelled. Sonic shrugged. "I didn't mean to sensei...I must have missed my footing and the ball flew out of my hands." Sonic said. Wong sighed and frowned angrily, not believing that story not one bit. " You and I both know that is not true Maurice... I will make sure that this behavior will not be unnoticed...." he said. Sonic frowned annoyingly and rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Silver, I need you to take Mr. Dark to the nurse's office and I will deal with Maurice..." Sensei Wong smiled.

    Silver nodded and helped Shadow up carefully, walking him out of the gym and towards the nurse's office. Shadow held his nose as he walked with Silver. 

He thought his life would change because of Silver, but he thought wrong...

His entire world turned darker and darker...

At this point.... he doesn't know if he can continue on living in this condition...

He hated himself...

And his life...
