The Nerd and The Bad Boy

    Once Sonic and Shadow got to school, they walked to Shadow's locker first. Shadow was next to Sonic, looking at their hands entwined with one another. His face was flushed red with embarrassment. "S-Sonic, do you have to hold my hand in school? I mean, wouldn't it bother you...?" Shadow asked as he looked up at Sonic. Sonic turned his head and looked down at Shadow with a smile. "You are my boyfriend now aren't you? So we're allowed to hold hands to prove that I love you! It doesn't bother me at all!" Sonic replied with a grin formed on his face. Shadow blushed more and looked down shyly. Once they reached Shadow's locker, Shadow then put in the combination and opened it. He grabbed the books he needed for that day, then closed the locker shut. The whole time Sonic was behind Shadow and was staring at his plump butt. He blushed red with anticipation. Shadow turned and looked up at him and smiled. "Ready to go to class?" he asked. Sonic quickly snapped out of his gaze and smiled back, nodding slightly. 

"Yeah.."

    Shadow looked at Sonic's weird behavior, but shrugged it off and began walking away. Sonic followed and smiled as he grabbed Shadow's hand again.  During their walk to class, every student looked at them and began to whisper to one another. Shadow's face paled as he looked down sadly. He didn't like being the center of attention. Sonic looked at Shadow and frowned a bit. "What's wrong Shadow? Your face looks very pale..." Sonic asked. Shadow looked up at Sonic and smiled fakely. "No, I'm ok Sonic! Don't worry about it!" Shadow replied. Sonic looked at him, not believing him, but shrugged it off for now and continued walked. Once they reached the classroom, Sonic opened the door to let Shadow in first. Shadow blushed and thanked him, slowly walking in. Sonic then entered after him. Everyone in class looked at them in shock. Shadow looked down and hurried to his seat and sat down. 

    Some people looked at Shadow while others looked at Sonic. Sonic growled a little and glared. "What the hell you guys looking at?" Sonic said. The students quickly looked away. Shadow watched as Sonic went to go sit in his seat, which was in the front of the class. The bell then rang as the teacher walked in. "Everyone please take your seat. The class is beginning..." the teacher, Sensei Young, said. All the students quieted down and sat in their seats. After roll call, sensei Young began teaching. "Alright class, would anyone like to come up and answer this problem?" sensei asked as he turned and looked at the class. No one said anything. "Alright,  I guess I'll just call on someone then..." he said. He looked around the class, then his eyes landed on Shadow. 

"Mr. Dark... Please come up and answer this problem..." 

    Shadow's eyes widened as he looked up at the teacher. "Eh? U-Um... yes sir.." Shadow said as he stood up and walked to the front. Everyone looked at Shadow and began to whisper as he walked past them. Shadow's heart beat faster as he walked to the board and grabbed a piece of chalk. All he could hear from behind him were whispers and feel eyes burn into his back. He shivered nervously as he looked at the problem and began to solve it. Sonic, who watched Shadow solve the problem, got fed up with the gossiping and growled. He then slammed his hand hard on top of his desk and stood up. He made everyone jump, even Shadow, and the teacher. "Would you guys shut up already! Geez! I'm sick of all this whispering in my ears!" Sonic shouted. Everyone quieted down and stayed that way. Even the teacher remained silent and watched the board. Shadow turned and looked at Sonic, who looked at him and smiled a bit. Shadow blushed and turned around to finish the problem. For some reason, Shadow felt extremely happy and calm after Sonic's outburst.

    Once Shadow finished, he put the chalk down and turned to the teacher, who looked at Shadow's answer. His face looked astonished at how easily Shadow go the answer correct. "T-That is correct! Good job Mr. Dark!" sensei Young said as he clapped. Shadow bowed and thanked the teacher and walked back to his desk. Sonic turned to Shadow and stared at him. Shadow sat down and looked up to see Sonic staring at him. Sonic then gave him a thumbs up and a grin. Shadow blushed red as he looked down shyly. After a while, class ended and everyone grabbed their things and began walking out of the classroom. Shadow gathered his things and stood up. Sonic walked up to him and smiled. "Hey, you.." he said. Shadow looked up at Sonic and smiled. "Hey, Sonic! Ready to go to our next class?" Shadow asked. Sonic smiled more and nodded. 

"Sonic...?" 

    Sonic looked at Shadow. "Yes?" he replied. Shadow blushed and looked down shyly. "Thank you for....doing what you did earlier in class..." Shadow said softly. Sonic blushed and looked away shyly, scratching the back of his neck. "It was nothing..." he said. Shadow looked back up at Sonic and smiled cutely. 

"I really appreciate it very much!" Shadow said.

    Sonic looked at Shadow and blushed red. He then grabbed Shadow by the waist and held him close. Shadow gasped and gripped onto Sonic's shirt tightly. "Eh?" Shadow started. "Shadow, I just had the sudden urge to kiss you..." Sonic said as he looked down at Shadow. Shadow's face turned red. "Sonic we can't! Someone might-" Shadow said but was cut off with a finger to his lips. "Shadow it's ok...No one is here right now..." Sonic said softly as his eyelids lowered. Shadow looked up at Sonic as he continued to blush. "So, may I kiss you?" Sonic asked as he leaned forward a bit. Shadow nodded and closed his eyes tightly. Sonic pressed his lips against Shadow's and kissed him softly. Shadow moaned a bit as he muzzle turned bright red. Sonic then licked Shadow's lips, asking for entry. Shadow opened his mouth to allow access. As they kissed, Sonic's hands travel to Shadow's butt and gripped it. Shadow's eyes widened and pulled away quickly. 

"W-What are you doing?" Shadow moaned. 

    Sonic gasped and pulled his hands away quickly. Both Shadow and Sonic blushed as they both looked away. Shadow covered his mouth.

For some reason, Shadow felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
