Chapter 22

Your POV

You were standing in front of the Mizukage along with Kakashi and the rest of the group. You were nervous about what kind of conversation you were going to have. Kakashi noticed you fidgeting and grabbed your hand. You looked at him, stunned only for a second. He smiled back at you.

"Relax, I'm here. Whatever happens next from now on, you won't face it alone. I'll be with you every step of the way, okay?" Kakashi spoke in a low voice so only you could hear him. You smiled softly and nodded back to him. You both looked forward to the Mizukage, who was wiping away her tears from the heartfelt reunion that had just occurred in her office.

"We shall speak in the conference room, I'm afraid that some unwanted guests might eavesdrop on our meeting. I'm in no mood for breaking anyone's bones so shall we head on out?" The Mizukage said smiling while walking out the door. Naruto's face had lost its color due to his fear of the Mizukage.

"Oh man, just like Granny Tsunade." Naruto felt a shiver done his spine as he walked out of her office. Everyone followed her into a room with a large table with many chairs and no windows.

"Please sit down, we have much to talk about. Also, a lot of explaining on our part." Lady Mizukage gestured to the group. You sat across from Lady Mizukage as Kakashi and Naruto sat on the opposite sides of you following by everyone else taking random seats around the table.

"So I wanted to start off by apologizing to you (Name)." Mizukage stood up and bowed towards you along with her advisors. You along with everyone else were shocked.

"The circumstances which you live in now is entirely the Mist's fault. For that, I'm deeply sorry, if there is anything we can do to make it up to you please do not hesitate to ask." Mizukage stood up straight and gave you a serious expression as if she was waiting for the request right at that moment. You immediately knew what you were going to ask.

"I want to see my parents files and the lab my mother was tested in." You had the look of determination on your face. Kakashi looked over to you and was concerned about what you had just requested. The Mizukage nodded and smiled.

"I knew you were going to ask for that, so I went ahead and took the liberty of grabbing the files before you all came." Lady Mizukage grabs the files from one of her advisors. She walked over to you and handed both of them to you. You glanced over the pictures of your parents that were clipped to the files. Your father, Tora Riku, had the same (h/c) hair as you but had different colored eyes. Yet, your mother was just simply elegant. It looked so hard to believe that she was the one who had experiments done on her. She had long black hair and the same (e/c) eyes as you. One thing you noticed is that when you transform you immediately switch hair colors from your regular hair to black, two colors that both your parents have. You laughed as tears roll down your face again. You didn't even open the file and your learning more about them already.

"I see you get your beauty from your mother, yet you're a spitting image of your father as well." Lady Mizukage said while smiling at you. You grinned at her then looked at Kakashi.

"I've always known you were beautiful, but now I know where you got it from." Kakashi gave you a closed eye smile. You blushed a little but still smiled at him. Then you opened your father's file as your eyes widened at the first speck of information you see.

"My dad was a high ranked Jonin? And he was the third Mizukage's assistant?"

"Let's not forget they were best friends since they were children!" Mizukage beamed with excitement from being so knowledgeable. It only confused you more.
