Scarecrow Adventures! Chapter 28.5

This chapter is about the time you were in the Akatsuki. So you won't see Kakashi a lot, but you will see plenty of Itachi!!

Your POV

"(Name).. it's been a long time since I last seen you. Why are you here?"

I was standing in front of the whole Akatsuki organization, trying to at least trick them into letting me join. But I knew the one person that would be tough to fool would be Itachi since I've known him since he was a kid.

"Well as you can see, I wanna join you. But I never thought you'd join Itachi, I didn't even know you had left the village like me. But I guess we're full of surprises." I was trying to act nonchalant but I was really worried about whether Itachi would blow my cover. Itachi just groaned and closed his eyes. Then a guy with orange hair and a bunch of piercings approached me. He pulled out a Kunai knife. The other members either chuckled or observed to see what he would do.

"My name is Pein. I am the leader of the Akatsuki. Before I decide whether or not I should kill you, tell us why you abandoned your village and how you can contribute to this organization." I didn't flinch but I was terrified of this guy's presence. I wasn't shaking but I could feel his eyes staring into my soul, so I couldn't mess up for nothing.

"I left the Leaf to find some answers about my past that they've kept from me ever since I was born. I want revenge on the people who made me suffer and think I was worthless. As for what I can contribute to this organization..." I handed a scroll to Pein. He took it and read the scroll. I saw no emotion in him at all so it was hard to tell if he was impressed or not. He turned around to Itachi.

"Can we trust her." Itachi opened his eyes and looked at me before returning his gaze to Pein.

"She's telling the truth, we can trust her. (Name) also is valuable concerning our goal, not to mention she can hold her own in battle and knows information that can be useful to us. I say yes to letting her join." Itachi says while giving a serious expression. Pein turned to the others.

"Sasori."

"I could care less, but this place could use more women."

"Deidara."

"She seems dynamite. If anything I'll make her into a work of art if she steps out of line. Hmm."

"Kakazu."

"More funds for the organization, so I'll say yes."

"Hidan."

"Hell yeah! There are too many guys here, more women the better! Plus she's smoking hot!" I felt myself nearly blush when Hidan winked at me. I don't like him but it's not every day you get compliments.

"Konan."

"Let her join, I won't be the only sensible person, not to mention female, here."

"Zetsu."

"I say yes. I personally fought her in the past so I know she's strong. By the way, no harm no foul from stabbing you back then (Name)."

"It's in the past, I was naive at the time so I don't care anymore. I only have a scar so it's alright." I waved my hand dismissively.

"Kisame."

"As long as she doesn't annoy or bore me, I'm okay with it."

"Then it's settled the-"

"You're not going to ask Tobi for his opinion?!" You turned around to see Tobi but he was acting differently than usual. He was acting like a complete idiot and his voice was higher too.
