you and jimin received your drinks as you decided on something to eat. the waitress came by to take the order and you did.

"so, why are we staying here even though she's here?" jimin asked you. you merely shrugged. "why should she ruin our lunch?" you asked with a silenced mischief. jimin lowered his eyes with suspicion. "you're obviously not okay with this." he looked directly into your glance. you shrugged again ignoring his assumptions and moved your eyes to the table to stop him from getting more of your feelings out.

"seriously. it's totally fine." you smiled. jimin still had that face on but left you alone nonetheless.  the waitress came by, giving out the ordered food and refilled your drinks. she asked if you two need anything else and left with a smile.

you started eating slowly having the entire room slowly come out of focus as your eyes rested on jaelee. you were creating a plan. a simple one at that. nothing too, i don't know, terrible. just something small.

your thoughts were interrupted with jimin repetitively repeating your name while watching you meticulously. you blinked your watery eyes that were burning from the staring. "minah. minah, hello?" jimin said once again.

"hmm? yes?"

"you're out of your mind right now." he said. you frowned. "i'm not one to interrupt another's life, but right now, i really, really want to." you told jimin. his head tilted in confusion. "look, i'm going to have a talk with jaelee." you said simply. jimin's eyes widened. "absolutely not. you're going to create so many more problems. she's your neighbor, you see her frequently." jimin said.

he was right of course, but did you really care? no.

"i'll be right back." you stood from your chair and began to walk towards the other's table, having jimin whisper words of persuasion to come back.

but, you ignored them as you approached the petite girl.

"jaelee! hey!" you greeted.

"oh uh, minah- hello." her body stiffened. "how've you been lately?" you asked in a normal tone. she swallowed and nodded slightly, "you know, fine." she let off a nervous grin. you smiled widely. "i'm happy to hear!" you sat at the empty chair across from her. "it's too bad yoongi's not here with me. i heard he likes you pretty well." you conversed.

jaelee's body grew stiffer as the conversation crept on. "ha umm, i guess he'd love to be here with you." she replied. "have you spoke to him recently?" you questioned. jaelee's head almost shook to say no but then she stopped herself. "well, actually, yes. yes i have. yesterday in fact." she started. "he said he had missed you and 'he really fucked up'" she quoted the words.

your face began to heat up in anger. "oh, how lovely." your body sat up straighter. "i'm glad he loved spending time at your house, touching you and kissing you all over. it's just too bad he thinks that it wasn't worth it." you sarcastically shook your head in a fake sadness. you crossed your arms and looked at the table.

jaelee began to turn red in embarrassment. "i think i must be going soon" you began. "it'd be really nice if you came over sometime. maybe we could share my boyfriend again!" you clapped loudly in disgust.

jaelee swallowed her breath. "it was a nice chat, glad to see your beautiful face again. have a wonderful fucking day!" you left the table and pulled jimin's arm roughly as you forced him to leave with you. jimin's face was mixed with confusion and utter embarrassment at your last actions.

"what was-" jimin began but immediately got interrupted by you. "a chat, don't ask now. we should go home." your grip was gentler but you still held his arm.

let's be honest, you weren't normally like this at all. but today was different. you had this sudden urge. maybe it was the clothes. or maybe it was just yoongi finally getting to you.
