you waved goodbye to jimin as you left his house. you were headed to a coffee shop to get a green tea. you didn't really know where you were headed afterwords but you decided to sort that out later.
the street was filled with darkened dead leaves, while the air glistened with frost. to your surprise, not many people were out. your body shivered, begging for warmth you weren't able to give.
your feet moved quickly as you arrived at the small cafe. the shop held numerous staff members, cleaning and talking as they did so. you pushed open the door, gaining a ring of the bell hanging above.
the workers smiled a scurried away as you waved to them. you placed yourself at the smallest table near the glass window in front of the store. a man walked over with a notepad in hand. his hair was wispy and parted down the middle.
a large smile crossed his face, "hello, what can i get you today?" he asked. "a green tea please." you replied with a small grin in response. he nodded and walked away. your hands tapped the opaque table below. the sky was filled with thick, creamy clouds, covering the blues that rested before.
people would pass the window now and then, most were smiling couples holding hands. and others were teens talking to each other, laughing. a sigh escaped your lips as you remembered you have to deal with the one and only, min yoongi.
you received your drink, thanking the bright waiter while leaving. you didn't have a clue where your feet were taking you but they sure were moving. they moved down neighborhoods, and streets, and throughout malls.
you looked at everything around you, thinking and thinking and thinking. about the world, about yourself, about jimin, about yoongi. just a lot of sorting things you should've earlier.
eventually you were led to a familiar building. the one that held everything you owned, including your straying boyfriend. but instead of going inside, you sat at a bench set beside the entrance.
you watched your feet sway back and fourth as you sipped the last drops of tea. it was no longer warm but you didn't mind. the flavor was enough.
the building doors opened and your glance switched to see a blonde yoongi. your eyes widened at the boy. he looked amazing. he was wearing an olive overcoat and shiny black shoes. you moved your eyes to hands after a good three seconds of staring.
yoongi's head turned your way and noticed you. he made his way over, the wind flowing through his freshly bleached hair. he crouched down to your eye level and the two of you met eyes. his were glistening with tears from the blowing wind.
he placed his hands are your shivering knees. "why are you out here and not inside?" he asked. his voice was warm and flowed like sweet caramel. "i was on a walk." you mumbled. he shook his head lightly. "come inside to warm up." he replied. you lightly shook your head, "no. that's okay, i think i might go back to walking." yoongi's hands slid off you as you stood up.
he stepped in front of you. "go inside." he demanded. your face turned into an annoyed one and you stepped past him. "i'm fine." you blurted out. yoongi walked behind you and grabbed your arms, pulling you back, into the building. at first you were squirming to be free but eventually you gave up as he took you to the elevator.
"why the fuck did you get touchy with jimin?" you asked out of the blue. yoongi tensed but responded calmly. "i was just joking around with him. he-e takes things too seriously sometimes." he still held a strong grip on your arms. you shook your head, not believing what left your boyfriend's mouth.
"why are you still holding me?" you asked. yoongi shrugged and you eyed him down. he kept his grip on you as the elevator eventually reached your floor level. yoongi and you left the tight space.
"let go of me." you groaned. yoongi didn't listen to your request and instead headed into your apartment. he let go of you after shutting the door.
you pushed him back, annoyed at his actions. "what was that for?" he asked. "what was this for?" you asked pointing to your slightly bruised arms. he grinned to himself and shrugged. "when did you bleach your hair?" you asked. "this morning." he fluffed his hair, smiling.
"i like it." you commented.
"thank you." he said, kissing your cheek.
-
"yoongi!" you yelled aloud. yoongi's eyes darted towards you. "what!?" he asked. "this looks so good!" you said, combing your fingers through your newly dyed hair.
the pastel pink reflected the bathroom's light beautifully and resembled a cotton candy cloud.
yoongi took off his gloves and smiled. "it does. you look cute." his arms wrapped around your waist as he hugged you from behind. your face blushed silently as he stared at you through the mirror.
