you yawned as your arms stretched in the air. the morning sun was climbing up the wall. your thoughts were cluttered with how beautiful it looked as the reds and yellows mixed together.

the house was once again quiet as the tv went off throughout the night. you dragged your legs up and went to the bathroom, completing your common routine. the house was cooled and the warm was nearly invisible, the hinting snow begging to enter the cozy home.

you pulled your hair back and tidied the living room. you cleaned the kitchen and organized the guest bedroom. but still, jimin did not come out. (a/n: lollll no pun intended) you sighed, now exhausted with the amount of movement you had done.

you went into the kitchen and cut up strawberries, planning on delivering them to the disappearing jimin. they were oddly quite a pink instead of the common dark red. it reminded you of the blush that would curl along yoongi's cheeks. how he would smile in embarrassment and cover his face.

you shook your thoughts away when your eyes caught the clock, 11 am. jimin was usually up at latest 10. it had you worried.

you skipped into his room and found a boy bawled up, anger on his face. very awake.

"um, jimin? i got you strawberries if you want them." you said, setting them on the bedside table. you turned to walk away but jimin stopped you. "yoongi texted me." he said. your eyes veered towards the glowing phone at the end of the bed.

half of you wanted to look but the other half wanted to not. you knew that it'd be something you wouldn't want to see. but would it be more than usual or less. you let out a large breath and picked up the phone.

yoongi :

can we please talk?

i really like you

more than just some hookup.

received 9:09am

though you were expecting something persuading and something you'd rather not see, this was different. he never just said 'i like you' without meaning.

"wow." you blurted out. jimin whined loudly. "can you just throw him away already? i'm done with this shit all the time!" jimin shouted.

you backed up at the response. "i'm trying to figure it out." you replied, holding your hands together tightly. "you're always trying to figure it out, why can't you just chose one or the other?" jimin replied whispering briskly.

"fine. you're right." you replied, walking out of the room and grabbing your bag on the way and walking out of the door. the air danced around your nose as the street stayed vacant like always. your feet pattered down the street and your body shivered out of nervousness.

you soon arrived at the tall building that held your things. you opened the door and quickly moved up the steps, headed to an all familiar space.

you opened the door and noticed a very clean apartment. "yoongi?" you called out. for a moment you felt like your heart was going to jump out of your throat, but it didn't and he showed up.

"minah..." his voice was quite surprised. "i'm going to need you to leave the apartment soon." you said. yoongi's head tilted, not understanding. "yoongi...i am not going to be with you anymore." you let the words finally escape your lips. the room went blurry and yoongi's lip quivered in sadness and disbelief.

"what do you mean?" he asked, stepping forward. "i'm done with you trying to mend breakage that is never going to heal. i need you to leave by one so i can get my things." you said. yoongi reached a hand out to touch your arm but you moved it aside.

"baby please, don't do this." he choked out.

you turned your body, taking in a large breath, feeling the comfort he held safely in the room. your feet clicked out of the room, leaving the door open.

the way home was slow. you expected a weight to lift from your shoulders but instead you gained some. somehow you felt guilty for doing that to him.

you let yourself inside of jimin's house and screamed loudly, tears running through your eyes. going and going and going. jimin ran out and stared at you. you had fallen into a position where your arms gripped your legs.

"what's wrong!?" jimin asked fear ran with his words as he spoke.

"i- yoongi and i aren't together anymore and i told him to move out and i don't wanna live there anymore and i feel so wrong for doing that to him," words flowed from your mind past your teeth while jimin listened.

he frowned largely and sat beside you, caressing your back as you wept.

"jimin, i can't live there if he leaves, it's too much money." you whispered, letting your nerves calm throughout yourself.

he hugged you softly. "you're always welcome to live with me." his words were gentle and sweet just as the strawberries you'd cut that morning.
