Chapter 2- The New Girl

POV Wes
I was going through my day as normal. Go to class, walk through the hall, talk to the guys, and pick on a kid. I got to lunch and one thing was different. A girl with purple hair was with Courtney and Olivia. She was beautiful but the guys always loved messing with Courtney and Olivia.
"Hey what's Wes" Joven said behind me. Joven was my best friend I told him almost everything.
"Not much. You?" I asked in reply.
"Waiting for the two slowest girls in school to hurry up and get their freaking lunch" he said rudely and loud enough for Courtney, Olivia, and the purple hair girl to hear. Courtney turned to flip him off but the new girl stopped him.
"Come on Mari he's an ass" I hear Courtney say quietly. Mari that's her name.
"He's not worth it" Mari said as they walked off to eat.
"New girl I see" Joven said "we gonna make her feel welcome?" He asked as we said with the rest of the guys.
"What new girl?" Asked Sohinnki.
"Some new girl is hanging out with Courtney and Olivia. And look there's Boze too" said Joven.
"Looks like we may have to pay the new girl a visit after lunch" said Anthony. Shayne, Keath, Noah, Flitz, and Lazercorn all agreed. I sat staring at her until she looked at me confused. I looked away and decided to agree with them.

POV Mari
A girl walked up with food and sat next to Courtney. "Hi I'm Boze. You must be Mari" she said shaking my hand.
"Yeah that's me" I said.
"It's nice to meet you" she said with a bright smile.
"You too" I said smiling back. We talked for a while about random things then I look slightly to my right and say the tall guy from the lunch line staring at me. The second he saw me look he turned away.
"Hey who's that guy?" I asked pointing to him.
"That's Wes. Him and that whole group are bad news" Olivia said.
"Hey do you guys mind stopping by the library with me real quick" Courtney asked changing the subject fast. We all agree and we walked out of the cafeteria. As I looked behind me the group of guys were behind us.
"Hey those guys from the cafeteria are behind us" I said with a little worry in my voice.
"Just keep walking" Boze said. That's the last thing said before they surprise attacked us. Next thing I knew they were gone and we were all on the ground. My lip was swollen from a punch. Olive kicked in the side. Boze kicked in the stomach. Courtney punched in the cheek. Great way to start at a new school.

Hey sorry for the lack of posting. I have a big summer project and I'm leaving for camp soon and I start band camp in a month and I'm one of two color guard captains. But I hope you enjoy the rest of the story. I have ideas but if you have some I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks for reading.
