Chapter 11- Her Scary Past

    POV Mari
    It's been about two weeks since they guys have apologized and Wes and I kissed. I really enjoy having all the friends I do. Joven's like an older brother same with lazercorn Sohinki and Flitz and Boze was like my little sister. The five of them plus me and Wes were extremely close. We played video games a lot and quite often Courtney Olivia Shayne Keith Noah Ian and Anthony would come over to but they were more into acting and making up skits and stuff like that.
    It's finally the weekend and I invited everyone over to stay the night since my parents were gone for the weekend. I hade gotten all the bean bags blankets and pillows possibly in my living room with the help of Wes. Now all we had to do was wait for everyone else.
     "Shoot" Wes said out of nowhere.
    "What's wrong" I asked wondering what could be wrong. Hoping it wasn't his family. Wes stays over quite a bit to get away from his family.
    "I forgot to order the pizza" he said. He got his phone out and started to dial the number.
    "Don't forget the bread sticks" I said. I love bread sticks and would be a little said to not have them. Wes nodded and ordered all the food to feed the 14 of us. A few minutes later everyone started showing up. We played a couple of multiple player games. The pizza got there about 30 minuets after we ordered it mostly because we had gotten so much food.
    We started playing cards against humanity while we ate. We played for about an hour and a half before we decided to go around and just tell stories and ask questions.
    "So Mari what made your family move here" Joven asked. No one have really asked me that before. I hesitated to answer. The real reason was to scary. I just looked at everyone and breathed in and out deeply and closed my eyes and then spoke.
    "I had a bad relationship with my ex. While we were dating he was abusive so I decided to leave him. He was angry and scary" I paused a second to breath. "He came after me. He told me if he couldn't have me no one could. He tried to kill me then himself. He was put in a mental hospital for 3 years. It was about a year ago. I didn't like it there anymore so we decided to move." I finished talking. I looked at Wes. We had been taking things slow not getting into a relationship. Honestly I was scared of one. I knew he had that thought in his head. He got up to hug me and everyone fallowing him. I love my life now. With my new friends. Everything was good.
    "So Courtney, are you and Shayne dating" I asked in the middle of the group hug. Everyone busted out laughing.
    "Speaking of which" Shayne said. "Courtney will you be my girlfriend?" We all cheered and laugh as Courtney was laughing and shook her head yes.
    I don't think life can get much better than now. However I was wrong.
